With so many jewelry companies out there, finding a good one is critical if you want to make money. Stella & Dot does have some things going for it, including brand recognition. Even so, there are some significant limitations present as well.
Youngevity is one of very many health and nutrition companies that operate through a MLM structure. It is a very ineffective way to make money and is much more difficult than the company lets on.
Shaklee is just another MLM selling vitamins and supplements. These types of MLMs are a dime a dozen. A quick search on Google reveals millions of them. But shaklee has some staying-power. The company has been around since the 1950s and doesn’t have near as many complaints as some of its much younger competitors. With all that said, it’s still an MLM, which means it has a negative stigma associated with it. To make any real money from it, you’ll have to be quite the salesperson.
Most of the products have no proven benefits and are little more than a cocktail of chemicals. Additionally, the compensation plan for the company makes it challenging and potentially expensive to actually make money.
The company seems to focus a lot on sales of their product, so I would say this is not a bad MLM to join. However, I’ve seen many complaints about the quality of product and level of customer service. Also, I’m not quite sure what an appropriate target audience for this type of product would be.
It’s somewhat surprising to realize that you can still, theoretically, make money by selling Tupperware. Nevertheless, the products aren’t as popular as they once were and there is much more competition in the modern market.
Young Loving offers expensive products that are far from unique in the marketplace. While the company does offer a range of products, the compensation plan and price of products would make it very difficult to convince people to actually buy the products.
Herbalife is often called a pyramid scheme, with good reason. Distributors purchase products from the person that recruited them, while earning commissions from sales and from the people that they recruit. For the majority of people, this system results in a substantial loss of money, and the only real way to earn money is to be unethical and misleading. Even then, actually earning money is far from guaranteed.
The concept behind Pure Romance makes some sense to me and I can see there being some demand for the products and the parties. However, even with that, this is not something that you could turn into a long-term successful business. At the end of the day, the company uses a similar structure to other MLMs, one that places strong emphasis on recruitment and team building. That simply isn’t an effective way to make money.
As programs go, Avon is a very well-known program, and there are many Avon reps out there who try to use Avon as a way to make money. There are many advantages of Avon, but as a money making tool alone, it is unlikely to be effective for most people. The problem with Avon is that you are responsible for getting your own customers through networking.
