Introduction to CustomPapers.com
- Website: CustomPapers.com
Are You Ready To Work Your Ass Off to Earn Your Lifestyle?
Are you tired of the daily grind? With a laptop and an internet connection I built a small website to generate income, and my life completely changed. Let me show you exactly how I’ve been doing it for more than 13 years.
Looking for web page design from the Jurassic period? Look no further than CustonPapers.com.
The site creates academic papers of all sorts — from admission essays to college to poetry to dissertations.
Aesthetic appeal is not really necessary to market the site. It’s just a matter of looking smart and words are enough for that. At least that’s what I conclude about CustomPaper’s marketing strategy.
I didn’t get work at CustomPapers.com. I am no academic and thus not a master at writing something like, “A Comparison of the Love Dynamics from Now and the 1300s: a Recitation on Romeo and Juliet.”
But the site offers paying work for freelance writers who can handle the genre.
- Circled in orange is the link interested freelancers must hit if they are interested in academic writing assignments. The site is seen as one of the trusted academic writing companies.
Getting Started with CustomPapers.com
Academically inclined freelance writers looking for work need to sift through mounds of text to find the “Become an Author” link at the bottom of the page. In fact, the only image found on the front page is a symbol from the Better Business Bureau.
Hitting the link brings you to another sea of text that starts out declaring a need for native-English freelance writers.
The page also gives a list of subject areas of interest to CustonPaper.com. They include:
- Business (marketing, management, finance, etc) and economics,
- Medicine, Nursing, and related fields
- Law and business law
- Psychology (clinical and research)
- Biology and biomedical sciences
- Computer science and information technology
- Chemistry, physics, and engineering
- Architecture and allied arts
- Humanities (literature, philosophy, art history classics, and music)
- Women’s studies, ethnic studies, LGBT studies and international studies.
CustomPaper.com says it especially seeks experts in advanced accounting and statistics.
Interested freelancers should submit the following:
- Resume
- Two MLA/APA samples of academic writing (including a bibliography and reference page)
- 600-word original, never-published-before essay based on guidelines provided by CustomPaper.com.
These items must be emailed and the site says someone will get back to you at their earliest convenience.
- Freelance writer looking for paying work at CustomPape.com need to provide the above requirements.
That, in my opinion, is a lot of work for a freelance writing job! Then there’s the “earliest convenience” statement, which translates to “we’ll get back to you when and if we feel like it.”
Like I said before, CustomPaper.com is not the site for me. Academic writing is not my forte and if I had skills in advanced accounting or statistics, freelance writing would not be my chosen field.
So, to get a better understanding of the site let’s look at reviews.
Reviews of CustomPaper.com
Like most sites paying for freelance work, you won’t get rich from CustomPapers.com. There was no real indication just how much, or little, money you could make working for the site. But, they do say there is no limit because assignments are based on bids. Based on what little I could surmise, expect about $10 a page.
Writers for CustomPaper.com appear pretty loyal, particularly since scam companies on the academic writing front are abundant.
Legitimacy is a big theme in a lot of the reviews out there.
CustomPaper.com is one of the few operators in the “term paper” industry that consistently gets good marks. This is done by placing a huge emphasis on the client, which according to one reviewer is given VIP status.
This can be difficult, says the same reviewer, because the result is demanding clients. They want a decent grade and it’s up to the freelance writer to get it for them. And if the final result doesn’t live up to expectations then there will be rewrites and edits that eat into the pay a freelancer receives.
Also, the requirements to write a good paper are supplied by the client, who in essence is asking for someone to do their homework. Will that client know what is required to get an “A” and thus make them look good? If they knew how to get a good grade, wouldn’t they do the term paper, dissertation, or whatever the assignment is on their own?
Getting all the information for a freelancer to get the job done right can be tough.
One thing I found impressive was that a staff member left a message on a forum defending the company.
History of CustomPaper.com
The site is one of the few content providers on the market that can say they’ve been around for decades.
CustomPaper.com was started in 2000 and is currently based in the suburbs of Chicago. The company proudly displays its Better Business Bureau symbol. It’s proof that CustomPaper.com is unlike other “term paper” companies, many of which have earned bad reputations.
In fact, much of the “historical” information on CustomPaper.com has to do with surviving in a tough market by working hard to develop strong connections with clients via exceptional customer support.
Getting Paid by CustomPapers.com
Again, I am not attempting to join this site — academics are not my forte. How this site pays their freelancers is not something I can talk about with any knowledge.
So, I steal a site strategy and ask that someone else answer this question for me.
Feel free to say how you got paid in the comments section.
Recommending CustomPaper.com
The site’s legitimacy makes CuatomPaper.com the choice for freelancers interested in academic writing.
Based on my unscientific exploration, few places offering academic writing follow through on pay — but CustomPaper.com does.
There is also reason to believe the site will stick around.
There will always be people desperate to complete their college assignments and others looking to cut corners.
This site does offer opportunities for a certain category of freelance writer — one who is academically inclined.
It could be a professional writer looking to make use of their business degree.
CustomPaper.com, on the other hand, could be a nice fit for a college student looking for extra money but doesn’t want to work in the food court.
However, you would need to get comfortable with the fact that you’re doing someone else’s work. It’s like high school in a way where the bully forces the geeky writer kid to do their assignments. Only this time, you get paid and there’s no wedgie.
As a writer, you have an in-demand talent that can be used to earn you TONS of money online. You can earn money freelance writing, for sure, but it's still just trading dollars for hours. Personally, I recommend starting your own website! Information is the currency of the internet, so why not leverage your talents to build yourself a serious online income!
