But can you really make money with the Directive Analytics website?

I am all about the side-hustle. In fact, earning extra money nowadays is almost a must for a lot of people. I’m not sure about anyone else, but I can tell you for sure that my bills haven’t gotten any cheaper over the past few years. I make good money at my day job… but a little extra never hurts.

Making Money With The Directive Analytics Website

Before we get too far into our discussion of the Directive Analytics website, let's talk about why the underlying idea is so interesting.

I love the idea of using survey websites for side hustles because they offer so much flexibility. I mean, think about it… you could literally log onto your laptop and use them any time, regardless of where you are or, what you are doing, or what time it is.

But the downside to a lot of these sites is that they just can’t pay out enough to make them worth the effort. And that is where I come in. I’ve tried dozens of survey websites in an attempt to find the ones that will actually work, and that is what I did with DirectiveAnalytics.com.Make Money Directive Analytics

Would this site prove to have what it takes to be a true side hustle?

A true side hustle needs to be not just profitable, but also flexible and consistent. I will admit that I haven't found very many sites that can provide all of these features, so I was super-interested in seeing what I could find out about this one.

Here is what I discovered.

Getting Started: A Little Bit Of Information About Directive Analytics

So what exactly was this website designed to do? From the home page, I learned a few bits of information that were helpful in answering this question.

They say that they utilize ‘a large research panel of individuals just like you to help companies understand what consumers are looking for.’ They also say that you need to be a United States resident to make use of the site.

This was fine for me, as I was a US resident… but I guess that this would be a pretty big deal-breaker to anyone outside of the US, so that is certainly something to note.

I found out that there was a FAQ page linked-to from the main landing page, so that’s what I took a look at next. I love it when websites like this host FAQ pages, as they really help to answer questions that would otherwise take a long time to find answers.

I learned quite a bit about the site on this page.

First of all, I learned that DirectPoints are the currency used on Directive Analytics. They have a value of one cent per point, so 100 points equal $1. I also learned that redeeming your points is a bit complicated as well.

Apparently, to cash out, you need to send them an email with ‘Check Request’ in the subject line. When you do this, they will send you a check for the money that you have earned thus far. As long as you have earned at least 100 points, you can request a check.

It can take 6 to 8 weeks to get your payout once you request it. It is also important to make sure that your address on file is correct, as having the wrong address listed could obviously get your check sent to the wrong location.

There was a lot of other information to be found on this page. But… this pretty much summarized the ‘most important’ details, as far as I was concerned.

My next course of action was to attempt to join the panel, just to see how difficult it was. Here is how that went.

Joining The Directive Analytics Survey Website

Joining the site took about 3-5 minutes. I was asked to supply my email, then an address, then some basic profile information about myself. This was a pretty simple process, and not so different from that of joining any other panel website.

Actually, it was less invasive than normal. I wasn’t even asked to supply a phone number, which is somewhat of a rarity anymore among most survey sites.

Anyway, I got all of this done, and got to a page where I was told that it would take 3 to 5 days for my membership to be verified. I finished the process and tried to log back in, but what I discovered was that I was not yet able to gain entry into the site… so as it stood, I was not able to learn much more about the site based on just what I could access this way.

So I decided to do some research online to see what I could come up with for extra information. Here is what I found.

What I Learned In My Online Research About Directive Analytics

I did an online search to see what other people thought about Directive Analytics… and here is what I came up with. First of all, they do seem to be a legitimate company, though there have also been a few complaints.

Directive Analytics Reviews

These reviews were found on surveypolice.com, and seem to be from actual users. Some people praise the company for paying out on time, paying a decent amount of money for jobs, and for being an all-around respectable organization.

On the other hand, some complained that you don’t get many surveys through them. Others complained that they were having problems getting paid and sorting out the problem with the company.

I have also heard that this company sometimes refers you to a third party company for surveys and that in such cases, it can be confusing to figure out how you actually get paid for your work and such.

We found a few other reviews located online, but they all seemed to follow this same trend. It seems that a lot of people like this site, but that there are always lingering reviews from people who say that the site doesn’t send out many surveys and that it is sometimes confusing to get the payments sorted out.

Obviously, we are not sure how many of these cases can be chalked up to user error, as that is most definitely something that can happen.

But anyway, we felt, at this point, that we had learned enough about the site to know what our opinion of it was.

How Did Directive Analytics Perform Technically?

On a technical level, we were pretty impressed with how the website performed. The introductory survey section worked very well, actually. We didn’t experience a single glitch or anything like that. It can be quite common for sites like this to be glitchy, or to act up while I’m trying to get things filled out.

So in this respect, I had no problem with Directive Analytics.

My Personal Feelings About The Site: Will I Be Using It In The Future?

Based on what I discovered over the course of my research, I can pretty safely say that I will likely not be using Directive Analytics in the future, for a number of different reasons.

This site seems to be a pretty typical survey site. That is not a bad thing, for sure. But the entire point of all of this, for me, is to find a site that will serve as a worthy side-hustle.

A side hustle is supposed to be not just flexible, but also profitable and consistent… to such a degree that you can depend on it to earn you a pretty substantial (or at least significant) amount of cash.

This survey site seems to fit into a pretty common category among survey sites. I feel like you could pretty easily make a bit of extra cash using this site, but I also feel that there is a possibility that it wouldn’t make you nearly enough to rightly qualify as a ‘side hustle.’

If you enjoy taking surveys and find yourself wishing that you could give your opinion about topics while also earning a bit of extra money in your spare time, then yes… this site would probably be a pretty awesome site for you to check out.

But if you are wanting to earn a significant amount of cash for your time, then I’m afraid that this one might not quite deliver what you’ve been looking for. This is true for any survey site, including ones like Panel Payday, Global Survey Group, and Hagen/Sinclair, which pay out relatively well.

I personally will not be using it, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not a well-done website. It does have a lot to offer if you enjoy taking surveys and don’t mind doing so for smaller amounts of money.

But if you want a quality side hustle, your time will likely be better spent somewhere else.

Final Review

To be completely honest, doing online surveys will never earn more than minimum wage. In fact, most people rarely earn more than $1-$3 per hour, if they are lucky enough to get a payout.

If you want to legit make money online you need to invest time into building a website. Earn passive income through affiliate links & advertising revenue. Rather than spend an hour trying to answer boring questions, build a real web property that you can earn monthly income from.
