SPX Nutrition Review
Company Name: SPX Nutrition
Costs: $120 (starter), $240 (builder)
Rating: 8/100
What Is It
SPX Nutrition is yet another weight loss MLM company selling diet pills.

Are You Ready To Work Your Ass Off to Earn Your Lifestyle?
Are you tired of the daily grind? With a laptop and an internet connection I built a small website to generate income, and my life completely changed. Let me show you exactly how I’ve been doing it for more than 13 years.
UPDATE: I have been corrected many times in the comments that it’s not a pill, it’s a powder. Whatever. I’ll change the word to “supplement” from here on out.
Short Review
Even as far as MLM weight loss supplements go, SPX nutrition seems to be running on a budget. Their website is very basic, they only have 3 products, and the compensation plan is indistinguishable from similar companies in the industry.
Without proper training and enthusiasm to market this product, you will end up spending more than you make with autoship plan deliver at least 40PV worth of product every month. (unclear how many $ = 40PV)
Product Breakdown
SPX Nutrition offers 3 products.
- Nutri Thin: Diet Pill (appetite suppressant + caffeine)
- Nutri Cleanse: Detox Pill (fiber)
- Xtreme Cardio: Amino Acid supplement
They offer a 4th product as well which is not listed in their product pages called SeaVeg.
It seems odd that they would actually sell this product and not list it on their website, but the site was clearly created without a lot of thought. It looks like it was designed in the 90’s and hasn’t been updated since.
Just one more indication that this is a recruitment focused MLM, and the products are just fronts.
Most of the supplements you get here can be found in other forms, from other brands. They really try to press home the idea that their Xtreme Cardio powder contains L Arginine and L Citulline, but both are simple amino acids that can be purchased online for $11/bottle instead of $40.
I guess I can’t blame them for building a proprietary blend and selling it at a premium price. Lots of companies do this, but it’s just not something I buy into.
There don’t seem to be any case studies or indication that the supplement actually work. We are told they are “science backed”, but then left to wonder what kind of science was actually used.
This kind of word-spin is common in MLM companies. Use enough fancy language and speak confidently, and most people won’t even question the facts.
About Detox Cleanses
There are many FREE detox cleanses you can find online, including the master cleanse and other juicing related cleanses that are popular and well known.
If someone really wanted to do a natural cleanse, I think they would be more likely to do a juice based one or one with a community of independent reviewers to actually post real results, rather than try to sell a product.
Every single positive review of SPX nutrition does not talk about the results of the supplements. They instead gloss over a few basic facts, and start talking about the business opportunity.
Which sounds more attractive to the consumer?
In addition, it’s become clear in recent years that detox diets don’t work. That’s just one link, but there are many other reputable sources online that say the same thing. Our body naturally detoxifies without the help of supplements.
Most of what people experience is a placebo from being excited about trying something new, or at the most being held to a strict diet rather than eating junk food.
Many of you won’t believe me, but I think it’s an important thing to consider when trying to sell a detox pill.
Running Supplements
Running supplements would maybe be something I could get behind because I hate running, but there are so many competitors out there I think you’ll need a real sales pitch ready to actually sell this stuff.
Non-runners simply won’t want to run. Seasoned runners will be skeptical of taking a ‘booster’. So who’s your target market?
Opportunity Breakdown
We see very typical MLM biz-op features in the SPX Nutrition compensation plan.
The most unique feature I could find about the SPX comp plan was the large number of levels and achievement ranks available and bonuses available (over 20 membership ranks based on sales volume and recruitment stats)
- First Order Bonuses
- Rank Advancement Bonuses
- Recurring Commissions
- Generational Bonuses
- New Growth Bonuses
- Lifestyle Bonuses
Although this may seem attractive to some, after reading up on the comp plan, it’s clear that this is a recruitment based business model.
Without a decent product to sell, most people will turn to recruiting to make money. And what happens when your recruits start recruiting? We run out of people.
Honestly, if you’re looking to sell health and wellness MLM, although I’m not a fan, there are other companies I’d choose before I chose this one. For example, AdvoCare (45/100), ItWorks (50/100), or Isagenix (35/100). There are also some skin care MLM companies that feature health supplements that scored higher than SPX Nutrition on both product and compensation plan review.
Other Comments
It’s also worth noting that losing weight is one thing that most people have an extremely hard time doing, plus, most people do not like running. By selling SPX supplements, you are essentially selling them two things that two will most likely not use more than a month or two.
MLM VS Affiliate Marketing
Is your passion running? Do you love being healthy? Maybe you enjoy something different altogether.
Whatever your passion is, you can create an online business about it. Setting up a simple website based on topics I’m interested in and selling products from OTHER companies is what I do for a living. It’s called affiliate marketing, and in my opinion it has a lot more longevity than just relying on pushing a single MLM company as your “business”.

What's up ladies and dudes! Great to finally meet you, and I hope you enjoyed this post. I have to be honest though. I'm not a big fan of MLM. Tried it. Hated it.
Affiliate marketing is cheaper, faster, and easier. See for yourself and join millions of other successful affiliates generating income from their blogs!
No inventory. No fees. No recruiting. 3 BILLION potential buyers online.

Hey Nathaniell, please do not judge a company before hand … check out the website. [link removed]
Nathaniell
Haha. Nice try Agnes. This is exactly the kind of BS you see floating around the MLM world.
For anyone reading: What Agnes did was create a domain that LOOKS like the official SPX website, but is actually a domain redirecting to her referral link. Real shady stuff, and I’m sure that even the SPX guys will disapprove of you promoting their business this way.

OK I am pretty certain you did not do any homework what so ever reviewing this company, 1st things 1st Cardio is NOT a pill, its a powder, and our products are unique if you would have looked up our ingredients compared them to what is on the market, we offer 100% holistic all natural products, just go right ahead and order that so called online garbage you claim to be able to get for $11, oh and our products for what you get are a lot more affordable than just about any other MLM health company, plus we are not just a diet pill company we are all over health and we are just getting started, for many people they have been life changing, many have been able to quit taking all kind of different medications for so many health ailments, tons of weight loss stories, and some that just love the extra energy. Our CEO is not about greed which is why he is keeping the cost down, to offer something for everyone. Also you are very misinformed as the website is a state of the art website well thought out but simplified so he does not have to charge, and keeps the cost down.
Guess what, I have looked at many of the ingredients at some of the companies you have mentioned that you say would be better companies and you again do not do your homework, some of the ingredients in some of the these products do not compare to what SPX offers, one of the companies which by has terrible ingredients and I would not even give them to my dog and has had several lawsuits against them because of bad ingredients.
With a good friend of mine we are in the works on starting an online MLM magazine, I would suggest if your are giving a review of a company that you maybe actually talk to the owner of some of the people in it..Oh and by the way, Rick our CEO is one of the most genuine kind, decent men you will ever meet on this planet and out of the last 15 plus years in this industry I have never seen a company like what he is bringing to the network marketing world.
Here my 2 cents, a company that cares, from the top to the bottom, legit hollistic products, that work by the way, a comp plan that works for everyone, a company that is keeping things simplified, rewarding every newbie on board, rewarding everyone in the company in so many different ways.
In network marketing you really have to have something amazing to offer people, and as I said before I have been a long timer in this industry and it takes a lot to impress me anymore, I have been burnt more times that I can count, had a downline of 14,000 people stole from me, and I chose SPX because they are something new, refreshing, affordable, and out of the many thousands upon thousands of company I choose SPX out of every one of them, because they have something no one else does, the best CEO and corporate team ever, then you add the products, and the rest is just a bonus.
Nathaniell
Lots of rebuttals here:
SPX is not unique
I never commented about Rick’s personality
Cardio enhancers and appetite suppressants are not ‘hollistic’
It doesn’t matter whether it’s a pill or powder, my points still stand. And what’s the deal with their website? They couldn’t get a legitimate web designer to run their multi-million dollar company site?
Joann
I really enjoyed reading these posts. I am trying to learn more about the SPX Nutrition Company and from the research I have done so far, the CEO sounds like a great guy with a reputable reputation and the ingredients are indeed natural. That speaks volumes to me as someone who is thinking of trying and/or selling their products. I think if people want to review the compensation plan or the company’s website and give their opinion on the marketing end of things, that’s fine. They are entitled to their opinion but when people start making comments about ingredients with no in depth knowledge nor have tried the product, I get suspicious about the legitimacy of the reviewer. Especially when the reviewer recommended AdvoCare’s products, I knew this was not a very accurate review of SPX. Anyone who knows anything about ingredient labels knows that AdvoCare’s toxic product ingredients should be avoided and are far from holistic and natural.
Thanks Amy for detailed reviews. Great read!

I started to read your blog but it was so full of misinformation that I couldn’t bare to read another word. I wondered if I should spend my valuable time trying to educate you on the true facts of SPX NUTRITION but I’m certain it would be a complete waste of time.

The company has a money back guarantee if not satisfied with a product for any reason. A truly indoctrinated SPX promoter! I don’t see any reason to join SPX as a customer when I could do all those exact same things without the stigma of being involved in an MLM recruitment scheme.
Samantha Bush
Actually I was trying to be nice and don’t wish to get into an argument with you as you’re very set on these products don’t work. So basically I would be beating a dead horse and this would only help your case. I do think you should truly try a product before you review it as it will be one sided if you don’t. Just my opinion. Also the L Arginine product is a powder you mix in water, not a pill as you stated. And 40CV = $40.
Nathaniell
Never said it didn’t work – I simply said that they’re not selling anything unique. You can lose weight exercising and eating healthy without joining an MLM program. You can even take cardio enhancers and appetite suppressants not associated with recruitment schemes if need be. I don’t see any reason to buy SPX’s products since they are not unique, and you can only buy them from fanatical distributors.
Samantha Bush
Is this the product Nutri-cleanse you’re talking about it? It’s the same customer reviews but It’s not the product that SPX Nutrition offers. As far as I can tell it’s not even listed on Amazon.
Nathaniell
You are right, I’ve removed that image from the review. You SPX guys really are worried about defending the product, aren’t you? 🙂
Samantha Bush
Well we do love our products don’t get me wrong, I just like to see accurate reviews 😉 No worries Nathaniell 🙂
Nathaniell
So you have no comments about anything else in the review, just a complaint the one image….out of 1000+ words that basically say SPX is nothing special? I guess that means the rest of the review is accurate, correct?
Agnes Saam
Before you really write anything about a company I strongly recommend you really do your home work and maybe even talk to the Owner Rick Wall yourself … I’ve seen well established companies have constant problems communicating with their associates and to me SPX is already way ahead of the rest. I’ve never got corp emails so well, all the companies I was in before Never Measured up to SPX, prompted fast shipping, never any product back orders, You control your autoship, everyone helping each other, Owners talks and listens to YOU anytime, and prompted comission, I love SPX I can’t wait to see what the future brings.
Nathaniell
I did do my homework and stand by my review. I don’t really think that diet pills are ‘the way of the future’, especially as people move towards natural eating habits.
