Can You Really Make Money With The PINCHme Website?

I found this site online as I was looking for websites that give you free samples of products. I’ve been into these types of sites lately, because I have a theory that they could offer a unique opportunity to make some side-hustle cash.

But can you really make money with the PINCHme website? Or is this just another site that is going to use up your time without really rewarding you for it?

I have reviewed a few other sites similar to this one. But so far, my main complaint is that these types of sites (product sample sites, like Influenster and Smiley360) don’t usually pay out enough to reward you fully for the time you need to spend on them.

Making Money With The PINCHme Website

PINCHme is a bit unique, though, in that it so far looks amazing. The other sites in this category that I’ve reviewed also looked good, but I feel like the professionalism on this site is just a bit ‘turned up’ in comparison to others.

This made me hopeful that PINCHme.com would be everything that I hoped.

But, I had yet to really give it a try, so here is what happened when I started taking a look at the site myself.

My First Impression Of PINCHme

My first impression of the site was quite good. I liked how it looked, how it was designed, and how I was able to interact with it. The landing page consisted of a nice, high quality photo and lettering. I also liked the color scheme and how the menu/tab bar was laid out.

Scrolling down, I was quickly shown exactly how the website worked. This was actually quite refreshing, as some of these sites can be surprisingly difficult to understand. Here is a screenshot of the three-step process that guides users on PINCHme.

So first, you become a member. That’s simple enough. Number two, you choose your samples on sample day. On the landing page, there is actually a countdown clock to the next sample day, which is quite interesting and cool.

The samples are completely free as well, which I was super excited about. And finally, after you have gotten the product samples and tried them, it will be time for you to give your feedback.

PINCHme is said to give you several benefits. It allows you to try new products, get free samples, and speak your mind about the products that you try.

There is a huge demographic of people who enjoy doing things like this. And don’t get me wrong. I do enjoy trying new products and giving my opinion about them.

But I will admit that I am more after a quality side-hustle than a free trial product site. So my goal, at this point, was to figure out if you could actually make any money using PINCHme.

Scrolling down a bit further, I saw some examples of the different types of samples they tend to give out when they do give out samples. I really like that you get to choose your own samples, and I was happy to see some pretty popular name-brand products included here.

I also realized that signing up with the site seemed pretty easy. You could sign up through Facebook, which is pretty much always easy. Or, you could sign up with your name and email address. You also need to give them your birthdate and zipcode, and create a password.

At this point, I had seen everything that there was to see on the home page, so I decided to take a look at the ‘How It Works’ page next, which was located in the top menu tab bar.

Here is what I learned by visiting it.

How PINCHme Works

This page was actually quite informative, and took me on a step-by-step tour of how the process works, from beginning to end.

First, you let the company get to know you by answering questions about yourself and filling out your membership profile.

Next, you choose what samples you wish to try. They ship you a box full of the samples that you choose, and they do it free of charge. It will not cost you anything to use this service, which I was happy about.

Then, once you have had a chance to try out all of the samples, you share your feedback by completing a brief survey, in which you tell them what you thought of the samples you received. They even let the brands know what your thoughts are, which is pretty awesome (and also probably the main point of the entire site. It seems to be a product-testing thing).

Next, I clicked on the ‘Samples’ menu tab.

This showed me the page where you can look through all of the possible samples for the products. Here is what it looked like.

As you can see, there are a few different categories available. There is Personal Care, Home & Family, Food & Drink, and Pets. You can also scroll down to view a bunch of individual products.

This was nice because it gave me a pretty good idea of what types of product I could expect to see in my options when I choose my samples

My Thoughts About PINCHme Thus Far

At this point, I feel like it is only fair for me to stop and talk a little bit about my experience thus far. I have written reviews of a few other sites like this (in this same category at least) in the past, but I will definitely say that this one was so far my favorite… for a few different reasons.

First of all, this site was really easy to understand. I feel like the other sites like this (that offered free product samples in exchange for feedback on the products) that I have reviewed just didn’t make the entire process very clear. And in the end, I was often still left wondering how the finer points of the system were supposed to work.

But PINCHme takes visitors through the process in pretty extreme detail. To the point where I felt like I COMPLETELY understood how it worked. So kudos to them for that!

And secondly, I felt like this site was just designed really well. I loved the look and feel of the site, and I liked how everything was organized. So again, I was pretty happy about this.

I also like how they distribute the free sample products. They let you pick out the ones that you like the most, and then they send them to you in a box.

This is actually really smart too, because having customers saying whether or not they want to try a product sample is just another way for companies to measure how much their product may be liked by the market.

What Did Other Review Companies Have To Say About PINCHme?

The first thing that I confirmed through reading online reviews of PINCHme was that you cannot actually make any cash using the site. This disqualifies it as a legitimate online side-hustle, but it doesn’t negate the fact that it is still a cool way to get some free stuff.

I also learned that there are limited numbers of free samples, and that it is ‘first come first serve.’ So if you want to make sure that you can get your hands on the items you want, you should probably visit the site sooner rather than later after they have posted new items.

There are also a few requirements that you have to meet to be able to get some products, so there may be some cases where people are not able to get the exact products that they wish to try. But this is understandable and is part of the demographics of the sample studies.

My Personal Feelings About PINCHme

Personally, I liked PINCHme.com as a website that you can join to try out free products at home. But it is not a side-hustle website, because you can’t really make any cash while using it.

Granted, this site is pretty awesome, and it does a lot of things the right way. If you like to try new products, are interested in getting some free stuff, and are also interested in giving your feedback on samples, then you will probably enjoy this site and get a lot out of it.

But for me, it fell a bit short of what I was looking for. I love it when websites give you free stuff, and I love it when they are designed well. And this site was definitely designed well.

But in the end, I am looking for a side hustle that I can use to make some real money with. And as you can probably already tell, this site wasn’t designed that way.

I may give PINCHme a try, to see how it works in practice… but I am also going to continue my search for the perfect online side-hustle as well.
