Buying And Selling Websites
Information about buying and selling websites. There's not a lot here because I haven't bought and sold that many websites online, or at least haven't done it in such a way that it warrants talking about it.
For example, one time I sold a domain name for $500, but it was a random, non-repeatable event.
One time I bought a turnkey website for $35, and ended up wasting 4 months plus $1000 trying to get it to rank. Eventually, I ended up wiping most of the content it came with and moving it to a new domain name, so I basically should have just built a website from the ground up from the beginning.
Flipping websites is also possible, and a great business idea. Think about it like "house flipping", where you take a home in need of TLC, spiff it up, then sell at a profit.
