Wake Up Now has long since died out. Want to actually make money online and not have a company disappear? My top recommendation has been around for more than a decade.

Are You Ready To Work Your Ass Off to Earn Your Lifestyle?
Are you tired of the daily grind? With a laptop and an internet connection I built a small website to generate income, and my life completely changed. Let me show you exactly how I’ve been doing it for more than 13 years.
What Is Wake Up Now?
Pay a monthly subscription fee to get discounts on various products/services. Sell subscriptions to your friends in an MLM/Pyramid scheme fashion. One guy gets rich by selling subscriptions, so everyone then goes subscriptions instead of actually using the discounts for anything.
Short Review
In case you didn’t know network marketing is very similar to a pyramid scheme. The products and services featured in Wake Up Now can be found at OTHER companies that provide better service, higher quality products, and are not associated with sketchy business “opportunities”.
Remember: It’s very likely that you’ll be scamming friends and family with this stuff, so think long and hard if you would let someone close to you join something like this.
Why You Shouldn’t Pay Money Into This Garbage
No doubt the person trying to get you in on this opportunity told you two basic things.
You can make a bunch of money doing this
Wake Up Now has a great line of products.
Let’s address these two points.
1. There is a very high probability that you will make almost nothing. In fact, less than 1% of people selling this product make more than $8 grand per year.

2) Anything you can buy through WUN can be bought somewhere else, for cheaper, or with more value.
Why on Earth would I have WUN be my travel agent when I could use Expedia or Priceline, two companies that do this professionally, and are multi-billion dollar companies with the infrastructure to provide better deals and better support?
Would you trust Norton, McAfee, or a sales pitch called “Wake Up Now” to protect your computer from viruses and identity theft? I think the choice is obvious.
And there’s really not reason at all why I would choose to order some expensive energy drinks from this company when I can buy a Monster at the gas station for $1.50, or a Red Bull, or a Rock Star, or Amp, or the million other types of drinks out there.
The only reason do to any of these things would be if you were paying a monthly subscription
Is There Anything Positive To Say?
As much as I knock their product line, I think they do a lot better job than these other companies that restrict their products to “digital downloads”. This is NOT an endorsement of this company, I just try to find something positive in every product/system I review.
Let’s Dig Into This Hot Garbage
The number one issue with this type of company is that paying a subscription to save money is ridiculous. I do not see the value in spending an extra $100 per month so that I can save money on energy drinks and vacations.
People get involved in “biz ops” like this because they want to make money. They want to change their lives for the better, provide themselves with more income, or achieve financial independence.
But how can you do this when you are paying a monthly fee in order to save money on items that you normally wouldn’t buy?
This is not making money. It’s just consumerism
Another issue I have with this company and network marketing in general is that this will NOT be a strong foundation for your future. Most people spend a lot of time hopping from one company to the next, each time buying into the “revolutionary system”, the “game changing product”, and the chance to “get in on the ground floor” before things really get hot…
But I’ve heard these stories so many times, and just a few years later, no one is talking about them.
Because no one wants to buy this junk. In my opinion, getting ANYONE into something like this means you are scamming them. I would not advise anyone to join anything that I would not join myself.
THIS is what Wake Up Now wants you to think you will be
But in reality, THIS is what you will be
Most of your work will be cold calling friends and family, telling them how great these deals are, how fantastic the product line is, and how much money they can make. Does this sound like you dream job to you? Not me.

Final Review
UPDATE
Trouble on the horizon: WUN leader steps down. The same thing happened to Empower Network when one of their CEOs “became ill” and took off. Sounds like Vemma is in trouble, getting sued for pyramid selling.
Still don’t believe me? Listen to the reputable radio cast from NPR. If you can’t dedicate an hour to listen to this, you probably shouldn’t be spending your money on this thing:
UPDATE
WUN has officially stopped network marketing operations, and top sellers are jumping ship. People are getting sued. All hell is breaking loose. #toldyouso

What Now?
I know you want to make money online, and I can teach you how to do it (the way I do it). But we need to get a few things straight:

I write reviews on One More Cup of Coffee because I want to show folks like you how to build a strong foundation to your very first online business. I started out in 2010 with a tiny little website making $0 per month, and now I work for myself full time.

So you diss MLM and WUN and then plug your business and trying to recruit new “customers” at the end….NICE

If your friend was going to waste his time and money into a pyramid scheme wouldn’t you give him/her some advice?
Courtney
Well.. this has definitely woken me up and I didn’t see it this way at all. Thank you..so much. bye bye WUN.

“Wake-Up Now! is a scam. But here’s how I make money. Listen to me instead.”
This is the 3rd website I’ve seen like this. Almost typical.
I’m glad there are individuals who have seen that there are ways in which to make this an auspicious deal. Not saying it isn’t suspicious but bias is a two-way street.
Nathaniell
Don’t know what you mean about it being a two way street, but I do know that if people are looking to make money online, there are ways to do it. I personally find Wake Up Now a terrible choice, so I offer what I think is a better alternative. I don’t see the issue in that.

This company is absolutely the definition of a pyramid scheme. What legitimate business relies heavily on the recruitment of others? Real companies don’t work that way. And every single “pro” Wake Up Now site I’ve been on does not explain how the company works or its business model. Just that it’s “life changing” and “you’ll retire young” blah blah blah. All this screams SCAM to me. Run people, run!
Mr Roberts
Where do you work? Does that job have a CEO, Regional and District managers, managers, supervisors and then you amd would it qualify as a pyramid scheme? Only thing is, you can work till you retire and STILL won’t reach that CEO title and let me ask you this, can you go on vacation WHENEVER you wanted to at your job? I’ll tell you that answer is no and wouldn’t that qualify as a scam? If this business isn’t for you, then say so and stop being fed misinformation because I’m on a team where ALL of us are enjoying residual income, can you say that?
Nathaniell
Don’t believe the “Every business is a pyramid scheme” junk. The CEO of Apple doesn’t sit in an Apple store trying to sell Macs. An Apple store employee is not required to recruit two more employees in order to start making a paycheck. It’s a completely different business, but you have been deceived into thinking differently by the MLM gods.
They are telling you that you are becoming an independent distributor or “business owner”, but you are really just becoming a zombie cheerleader. And not the hot kind.

I’m so glad I found this page. One of my friend (let’s call her P) at work kept trying to get me to go to one of her business meeting by misleading me to go to her couponing class. I kept telling her that I didn’t need to because I’m an extreme couponer and don’t have the time to go to her so called classes. She was so adamant about me going to her classes. I told her I didn’t need to go and why it was so important for me to be there. I already know how to save money and I’m not going to learn anything new. She replied that she just want to talk about couponing with others. I suggested that we just talk about it on lunch break or share deals on FB.
One of my other friend (let’s call her S), who was a novice couponer, went to one of P’s classes. So I asked her how she liked P’s classes. S said the class was broken down into two parts. The first was about how to use manufacture coupons to save at retail stores. The second part was about WUN business. S was pretty that P mislead her to go to a business seminar using bait and switch tactic. I was shocked at hearing this and understood why P was so adamant for me to go to her couponing classes even though I would not benefit from it.
P used to offer a lot of “couponing” classes. Now she just post up a lot of WUN promotion scheme, “make 90K in 90 day”, “never work another day in your life”, “9-5 jobs are bad.” She’s only selling the MLM scheme. What about the physical products or services? If you don’t even believe in your products, than whose going to buy them? So then you basically scam 12 friends into paying $100 each, that’s $1200 total so that you can get half a cut of their pay out ($600) every month. That is just dirty.
I’m considering to un-friend P on FB. Her posts really makes me upset sometimes, especially the sad stories about families who work hard, went back to schools to get higher degrees, got successful jobs, they end up not having enough time with their families. That is my life and how is that bad. Everyone struggles with finding time with loved ones. Obviously, WUN is not a solution. You don’t get paid within two weeks with WUN. Nor does WUN offer health benefits. Joining WUN is like working a 2nd job trying to find people to join and it actually cost money every month. That’s crazy. Our situations are totally opposite, so I can see why P needs to make the extra money. The difference between me and her is that I have a degree, I make 1.5x more than her (only working part-time), and 2/5 less children than her. Seeing how P struggles really motivates me to continue my education, so that I don’t have to work a 9-5 job on top of running an MLM business just to make ends meet if I do decide to have more children. Thanks for my education that I am able to have a well paid part-time job and be able to enjoy a lot of time with my babies.
Nathaniell
It sounds like your friend P is lost in the MLM scheme. Facebook and Instagram is how friends are scamming friends, and the people that benefit are the rich guys at the top of the pyramid, not the ones doing the actual selling. Feel free to educate your mutual friends on Facebook by sharing this post. It’s very sad that “friends” don’t think twice about selling something to you that they don’t really understand.
