Do you love sports? If so, then it’s possible that you might have even heard of this app before. But can you really make money with the ESPN Streak For Cash App?
Are You Ready To Work Your Ass Off to Earn Your Lifestyle?
Are you tired of the daily grind? With a laptop and an internet connection I built a small website to generate income, and my life completely changed. Let me show you exactly how I’ve been doing it for more than 13 years.
That’s what we wanted to know, so we decided to download it and give it a try. I will be super-honest here—I’m not a huge sports fan. I don’t usually watch sports games, go to sporting events, or even play sports (outside of some basketball on the rare occasion that I find people to play with).
So right from the get-go, this app was an unlikely one for me. But, I was determined to check it out. I’m not above getting into sports a little bit if doing so can earn me extra cash.
Making Money With The ESPN Streak For Cash App
I wasn’t sure exactly how much you could earn with this one, so I decided to do some reading about it before I actually got started.
Here’s what I found out.
What Exactly Is The ESPN Streak For Cash App?
The tag-line for the app in the Google Play store reads as follows…
“Put your prediction talents to the test with ESPN Streak For The Cash.”
I wanted to know more, though, so I also took a look at the Read More section and did some research there.
Here’s a little blurb from the Read More section that helps to explain exactly what this app does…
“This popular game challenges you to build the longest streak of correct picks from a daily list of matchups across the world of sports.”
Basically, you try to build a streak of correct picks. And if you do good enough, you win cash. When I first opened up the app, a congratulations screen popped up, congratulating someone for winning a $5,000 grand prize for getting the longest streak going… which is insane!
But is this the only way you can win? Is there any way to earn extra cash if you don’t get the longest streak? I was not quite sure about what kinds of rewards the rest of us (those who didn’t have the longest streak) could expect, and that’s what I was the most interested in finding out.
To do that, I decided to get started within the app itself… but here are the basic stats that I looked at before opening it up.
The app has over 1 million downloads, has a 4.1 rating on Google Play, and has been reviewed by almost 10,000 people. Those are pretty impressive numbers. But again, my primary concern here was the extra cash (hey, call me what you want… but we all need some side-cash these days).
So I decided to take a closer look at the app more closely.
Taking A Closer Look Inside The ESPN Streak For Cash App
Upon opening it up the second time, I was greeted with this screen… which seemed to be the ‘hub’ of the app. There were some menu options along the bottom, and a series of matches that you could make your ‘picks’ from.
This is where you scroll down and try to choose who is going to win… or so it seems.
But I wanted to learn more about what the app can earn you… so I decided to do some digging around in the menus.
To start with, I opened up the ‘settings’ menu, and found a lot of helpful sub-topics… almost like a FAQ section.
So I started reading around. The first thing I looked at was the ‘How To Play’ section, which was actually quite informative, though brief. Here is what it looked like…
Next, I looked at the official rules. This section was lengthier, and I scoured it for information about what you can actually win. I wanted to figure out how much you can actually make on this app, and it was proving difficult to figure that out.
Finally, after quite a bit of reading, I came across this section.
So, basically, monthly prizes are given out to people who end up ‘winning.’ As far as I can tell, there are no smaller prizes or incentives to play, other than ‘winning it all’ in the monthly period, which seems to reset every month, giving every participant a new chance to win every 30 days or so.
The app itself looked quite good, really. Making picks is pretty easy, though you need to create a profile and sign in before you can really start doing anything. The ‘My Entry’ page makes it really easy to keep track of your picks, your streaks, and where you currently stand.
I guess the entire point of this app is to choose who is going to win out of each of the offered matches. And if you win more times in a row than anyone else, you win the big prize. There are also other picks that you can make that don’t seem to be based entirely on the team/athlete winning, but on certain statistics, etc.
Again, I’m not much of a sports person, but I can see that having a working knowledge of the games that you are picking could really impact your success with an app like this. Choosing just randomly probably wouldn’t lead you to very much success. Educated picks are probably going to do the most good, or so it would seem.
Also, I should add that the app is free to use, and that it would probably make the sports more fun for whoever is watching them. If I were to start using this app, it would give me a much better reason to start paying more attention to sports, and would even cause me to root for the teams more, because I would have an actual stake in the performance.
As for which sports are covered by the app, here are some examples of specific types of picks that were up for selection when I was looking at it: Horse Racing, Major League Baseball, NBA, NHL, Soccer, and Tennis.
The picks seem to change a bit from day to day, and obviously you need to choose between the actual picks offered in the app. Not every game or sporting event is covered.
Is The ESPN Streak For Cash App Worth The Time?
Here are the upsides and downsides that I noticed about this app as I looked it over and tried it out.
First, the upsides. The app seems to work really well. It also seems easy to use.
They make it easy to keep track of your picks, and they seem to do a really good job of giving you a range of events to choose from. They also offer pretty big rewards for the winners each month, which is awesome.
Winning $5,000 for picking the best streak would obviously be an awesome way to earn extra cash… if you could actually succeed at it. Of course, therein lies the problem.
With this app, there is no guarantee that you are going to choose successfully—so you can’t really count on winning anything at all.
But, with that being said, the time investment required is minimal, because it really only takes a moment to choose your picks… so if you are already a sports fan, you could easily compete for a chance to win without any real extra effort on your part.
The downsides? That you won’t win anything unless you win it all. There don’t seem to be any rewards for anyone but the winner, so for the vast majority of users, a prize will not be won.
This isn’t a criticism of the app, mind you. This app is pretty awesome, and it’s free to use. It’s just that it may not quite qualify as a reliable means for making extra income.
It’s more of a sports game app than a money-making app—and as such, it doesn’t really hold the appeal for me that it would need to hold to keep a steady place on my phone.
This doesn’t mean that it’s not good. It just means that it may not qualify as a quality means of adding some extra cash to your wallet.
You might like this app if you are really into sports, and if it doesn’t really matter to you if you win any money. But if you’re goal is to earn extra cash, then this app will probably do two things… 1, it will get you more excited about sports or bore you… and 2, it will likely frustrate you because the odds of you making extra money with it are slim.

Honestly, there are tons of various apps that claim to help you "make money", but really there are two facts to consider. 1) Most of them don't actually work. 2) If you can make money, it's not going be very much. If I'm going to spend any amount of time working online, I want to be working for myself by building my own profitable website
