What's up everyone, my name's Nathaniell, and I'm the guy who started One More Cup of Coffee. I teach people how to make money from blogging. I've been doing this successfully for more than 10 years now, and honestly, it's a lot easier than you think. I can definitely show you how to do what I do, and how to design a pretty awesome lifestyle for yourself.

For me, being in this business isn't about getting rich. It's about having time to do the stuff I really want to do, like fix up my house, make beer on the weekends, and spend time with my family. In fact, the name One More Cup of Coffee came from the days when I worked a real job and hated having to rush out the door every morning.

All I wanted is a little bit of extra time in the morning for a second cup of coffee.

Well, that dream came true, and I can show you exactly how I did it and how you can repeat the same process for yourself.

I wasn't always an internet marketer; in fact, I've done quite a few different jobs over the years.

Internet marketing was just the career path that ‘clicked' for me, mostly because I could do it from the comfort of my own home and according to my own schedule.

But let's start a bit further back; if you're going to get to know me, you should know a bit about where I'm from and what I've done.

People always ask me…

They say, “Well, you got started in 2010. Did I miss the gravy train? I'm sure there's too much competition now, so I'd never stand a chance!”

But the funny thing is that it's easier than ever to make money online. Why? There's two simple reasons:

  1. More products are being sold online now. People are shifting more and more of their shopping habits to the online world and that just wasn't the case even 5-10 years ago. Even small businesses and grocery stores are selling their products on the internet!
  2. There are more tools to make starting your business easier. Before, you had to code everything in HTML and be internet savvy. Now, there's tools to automate everything. Thousands of people have made the journey before, and you can use their wisdom to make your path easier.

It's kind of like traveling. In the past, you had to take a ship and spend weeks on the ocean to reach far-off places. Once there, you had to make your own adventure!

Now, You can reach any destination in the world within 24 hours. There's a guidebook for every country in every language, and there are smartphone apps for instant translation to your native language.

Nowadays, it's easier than ever to get started making money online because there are so many more resources available to you, and you can just “follow the guidebook” to get where you need to go (owning a money-generating website).

So, back to the story of how I got started…

I grew up in California, but left soon after graduating high school to travel in Europe. I was completely bored in the US and wanted to see the world. At the time, I had a friend living in Prague, so used her house as my “home base” between trips. When I needed money, I freelanced as an English teacher.

Eventually I landed a pretty sweet job as a kindergarten teacher, so I was officially getting paid to play duck-duck-goose and hide-and-seek for a few hours a day.

After a few years doing that, I broadened my horizons and set my sights on China. I wanted to learn Mandarin and start the next chapter in my travels.

China was wild. I made tons of friends, traveled all over the country, and became fluent in Mandarin.

But after being in China for a while, I began thinking about my future. It had been ten years since I left the US. I was having a blast traveling, but I had no job security and saving any money very difficult working for low wages.

So I hatched a crazy plan to make US dollars while working in China. I wanted to start an internet based business so that I could work on my computer in China but earn US money. Even just $30 per day was basically a full time income in China.

It took me about six months of fumbling around: browsing around different sites, joining tons of mailing lists, watching hours of promotional videos, and following my share of purported “gurus” before I came across Wealthy Affiliate.

They were the legit online training center I was looking for. After three months of training I had made my first sale through my website. Six months after that I was generating regular sales. After a total of eighteen months working on my website I was earning over $10,000 per month so I quit my job in China and bought plane ticket back to the USA.

Thanks to my affiliate websites, by 2013 I owned my own home, a brand new truck, and a motorcycle! As of 2021, I'm married with a son, and still working from home “full time” (about 3 hours a day).

Personally, I'm kind of done with traveling for now and enjoy being a homebody. I like tinkering with my house and going on walks with my wife. It's a simple life. No Lamborghini's and no private islands, but I have a family and a couple hobbies, and I'm good with that.

One More Cup of Coffee is about helping you craft your own version of the perfect life. Where do you see yourself next year? What about 10 years down the road?

The cool thing about starting an affiliate blog is that you can take your business anywhere in the world and work at any hour of the day, any days of the week. You don't need any qualifications or prerequisites to learn. No degree required! You can learn everything online, and learn at your own pace.

Making money from your blog is pretty simple, but it takes a lot of work. Don't expect this to be a get-rich-quick thing. If you're ready to put in the hours consistently over the next year or two, I'm ready to share my knowledge with you and help you start earning money on the internet, through your own blog.

Hey Roderick(Nathaniell)! This is Paul Myo.

I’ve been a member of WA and the only thing I got is 7 referrals.
After that 3 of them quit. and after 1 month another 3 didn’t come back. Now I’ve only one left. I don’t know why they left… I felt like I’m so tired to get even 1 referral.

Later on, I thought and decided to leave from WA and find another better way to make more
    money and faster.

The biggest problem is I don’t have money to pay the Monthly fee anymore.
I’ve tried lots of different programs. I think it’s around 13 programs including WA. Most of them are Monthly membership sites.

Hi Paul, it’s great news that you found some success in WA. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people that, like yourself, join for a while, then decide to quite for various reasons.

What’s more unfortunate is that you decided to come to my site and post spam here, trying to recruit! This is exactly the type of thing that website owners dislike, and is absolutely NOT taught within WA! Talking about “amazing and free” systems that you can make money quickly is not my style, and not something I recommend.

I also don’t like to be in the “MMO game” where people just try to recruit as many folks as possible to as many systems as possible to grow their “network”. It’s just not interesting to me.

In Wealthy Affiliate, it’s not about recruiting. It’s about building a business YOU care about. Yeah, I’m an affiliate, but I LOVE helping people build websites. It’s a passion I discovered while building my first websites promoting computer software. If you lost interest in promoting Wealthy Affiliate, then perhaps it just wasn’t your passion.

You should be following opportunities where you find personal interest, and the desire to continue building your business despite not making immediate profit. If you are constantly chasing the “fast and easy” money, then you will very likely not find the success you are looking for, and you’ll end up spending more money than you make as gurus take advantage of that type of mentality.

Hi Nathaniell, I dont know as a starter should I promote as an affiliate or write reviews on stuffs selling on amazon. If I may ask, what was the website that brought your first sales and honestly speaking, I dont have any knowledge about computing so is setting up websites and become successful in it something impossible for me?

It doesn’t have to be either/or. You can do both affiliate stuff and Amazon stuff. They’re kind of the same thing!

With regards to not having any computer skills, I used to be the same way. That’s why you sign up for training! If you don’t know something, learn how to do it. That’s exactly the kind of stuff that WA is going to teach you.

I sincerely find Shaun’s arguments so far against WA, Jaaxy or Nathaniel extremely weak and have no value at all for me. (Oh I can only speak for myself) Unless he improves and brings in some value to the discussion in the future I won’t waste my time any more reading his repetitive arguments. At least he should be able to show me and lead me to any other affiliate trainings better than WA. At Warrior Forum, he is making us to believe to be the best training ground for beginers, they sell and sell one product after another so I quit within a few weeks. At WA we are learning tons and tons of valuable information without any upsell whatsoever. And Jaaxy is NOT at all an upsell. It is optional – we are free to decide to use or not to use Jaaxy.

Thanks for the comment Kipps! I’m sure Shaun hasn’t even been back here to view the comments, but I do hope that he finds something that works for him. Sounds like he’s been at it a while and has a bit of “shiny object syndrome”. Thinking of that discussion below just made me think that Wealthy Affiliate is a great place especially for folks that get jaded with internet marketing due to places like the Warrior Forum because it gives you a clear set of goals, and a consistent support network.

    Hey Nathaniel

I must admit I was surprised to hear from you but since I was a subscriber I figured I would visit the site and learn a little more about you and how you did it. I think I have researched every program out there and decided that I would find someone who made it online. I refuse to buy in to the big so called GURU programs. The up-sells at MOBE are way beyond my means and I am not interested in David Woods stuff , And I could go on and on.

Yep Wealthy affiliate is a good starter program but I am going to get my blog up and running first., Thanks for sending me the videos and congratulations on your success!!! I read all of the comments and learned quite a bit from them. I am lucky my son is an IT and when I am ready he will help me build my site.I am a local blogger in my town. I live in Pennsylvania about an hour from NYC and an hour from Philadelphia. Small town very artsy and I am kinda well know I used to run a large social service Agency that helped the Homeless. We had 2 offices and a budget of $4000’thousand and change when I took over and within 3 years I was pulling in $750 tho and was published for my views on welfare reform and received numerous awards.

I am a grant writer by trade and have a Consulting business on running a Non Profit. So since I write rather well I figured I would put it to use onto the net. And then I stumbled on to you and yes I voted for you LOL I have had contact with several of the Ipas crew but like i said I do not like the structure of it .Well so now ya know a little bit about me. Something about you is very trusting. So here is to our mutual success!! peace Sandra I love your format A cute little website with lots of value

Wow! It sounds like you’re quite familiar with the MMO and MLM scene, and the big products in those arenas. Glad to hear that you have very positive things about Wealthy Affiliate!

Since you’re a writer, you definitely have an advantage. A lot of “value creation” for bloggers lies in creating content, whether that be using video, audio, or written word.

Good luck on your business, and I hope to see you around commenting again soon 🙂
