What's up everyone, my name's Nathaniell, and I'm the guy who started One More Cup of Coffee. I teach people how to make money from blogging. I've been doing this successfully for more than 10 years now, and honestly, it's a lot easier than you think. I can definitely show you how to do what I do, and how to design a pretty awesome lifestyle for yourself.
For me, being in this business isn't about getting rich. It's about having time to do the stuff I really want to do, like fix up my house, make beer on the weekends, and spend time with my family. In fact, the name One More Cup of Coffee came from the days when I worked a real job and hated having to rush out the door every morning.
All I wanted is a little bit of extra time in the morning for a second cup of coffee.
Well, that dream came true, and I can show you exactly how I did it and how you can repeat the same process for yourself.
I wasn't always an internet marketer; in fact, I've done quite a few different jobs over the years.
Internet marketing was just the career path that ‘clicked' for me, mostly because I could do it from the comfort of my own home and according to my own schedule.
But let's start a bit further back; if you're going to get to know me, you should know a bit about where I'm from and what I've done.

People always ask me…
They say, “Well, you got started in 2010. Did I miss the gravy train? I'm sure there's too much competition now, so I'd never stand a chance!”
But the funny thing is that it's easier than ever to make money online. Why? There's two simple reasons:
- More products are being sold online now. People are shifting more and more of their shopping habits to the online world and that just wasn't the case even 5-10 years ago. Even small businesses and grocery stores are selling their products on the internet!
- There are more tools to make starting your business easier. Before, you had to code everything in HTML and be internet savvy. Now, there's tools to automate everything. Thousands of people have made the journey before, and you can use their wisdom to make your path easier.
It's kind of like traveling. In the past, you had to take a ship and spend weeks on the ocean to reach far-off places. Once there, you had to make your own adventure!
Now, You can reach any destination in the world within 24 hours. There's a guidebook for every country in every language, and there are smartphone apps for instant translation to your native language.
Nowadays, it's easier than ever to get started making money online because there are so many more resources available to you, and you can just “follow the guidebook” to get where you need to go (owning a money-generating website).
So, back to the story of how I got started…
I grew up in California, but left soon after graduating high school to travel in Europe. I was completely bored in the US and wanted to see the world. At the time, I had a friend living in Prague, so used her house as my “home base” between trips. When I needed money, I freelanced as an English teacher.
Eventually I landed a pretty sweet job as a kindergarten teacher, so I was officially getting paid to play duck-duck-goose and hide-and-seek for a few hours a day.
After a few years doing that, I broadened my horizons and set my sights on China. I wanted to learn Mandarin and start the next chapter in my travels.
China was wild. I made tons of friends, traveled all over the country, and became fluent in Mandarin.
But after being in China for a while, I began thinking about my future. It had been ten years since I left the US. I was having a blast traveling, but I had no job security and saving any money very difficult working for low wages.
So I hatched a crazy plan to make US dollars while working in China. I wanted to start an internet based business so that I could work on my computer in China but earn US money. Even just $30 per day was basically a full time income in China.
It took me about six months of fumbling around: browsing around different sites, joining tons of mailing lists, watching hours of promotional videos, and following my share of purported “gurus” before I came across Wealthy Affiliate.
They were the legit online training center I was looking for. After three months of training I had made my first sale through my website. Six months after that I was generating regular sales. After a total of eighteen months working on my website I was earning over $10,000 per month so I quit my job in China and bought plane ticket back to the USA.
Thanks to my affiliate websites, by 2013 I owned my own home, a brand new truck, and a motorcycle! As of 2021, I'm married with a son, and still working from home “full time” (about 3 hours a day).

Personally, I'm kind of done with traveling for now and enjoy being a homebody. I like tinkering with my house and going on walks with my wife. It's a simple life. No Lamborghini's and no private islands, but I have a family and a couple hobbies, and I'm good with that.
One More Cup of Coffee is about helping you craft your own version of the perfect life. Where do you see yourself next year? What about 10 years down the road?
The cool thing about starting an affiliate blog is that you can take your business anywhere in the world and work at any hour of the day, any days of the week. You don't need any qualifications or prerequisites to learn. No degree required! You can learn everything online, and learn at your own pace.
Making money from your blog is pretty simple, but it takes a lot of work. Don't expect this to be a get-rich-quick thing. If you're ready to put in the hours consistently over the next year or two, I'm ready to share my knowledge with you and help you start earning money on the internet, through your own blog.
- You pick the topic
- You pick the products
- You write the content
- You reap the rewards

Hi I am interested in your course! Please advise. Thank you.
Nathaniell
My advice is to head over to the main page where I discuss how my business works (and how you can repeat the process), or if you want to learn more about the training center, you can check out details about Wealthy Affiliate training.

Hi Natheniell,
My prior comment was before I read through everything.
If I want to work with a friend developing my websites and we live in different states, we both would need to purchase the WA membership to access resources, etc. correct?
Since I am as newbie as one can get, if we are working TOGETHER on the same websites but live in different states, that’s completely possible, correct?
Thank you
Nathaniell
Yes, you would both need individual memberships. If you were in the same home, it would be different, but it wouldn’t be possible to share the same account and go through the lessons separately.
If you wanted, you could make one account for yourself, then HOST her website on your account (you have 10 spots), but she wouldn’t be able to go through the training.
Susan
Dear Nathaniell/Roderick,
Thank you for your great website. I was going to purchase this truck for my son through a Craiglist’s add. THe seller, an older man who seemed nice, while working out details to possibly purchase his truck, shared with me vague details about this great new business he’d started that was going gangbusters and could he talk to me as his colleagues were thinking of expanding an office to my area (which is quite remote). I thought, why not and agreed to join a Zoom Meeting. The minute I connected into the ZOom meeting I knew it was a scam and while listening to all the BS mumbo jumbo looked on the internet for info on “Team National.” I’ve been around long enough to know Pyramid marketing helps the few at the top and crushes the many holding up the top. THen, when I noticed there was no real product they were selling, became evermore wary. I then hung up on the Zoom phone call and out of curiuosity, kept looking into the company which brought me to your website. I really liked your article on Team National and the questions you prod the readers to ask. After a look at BBBureau complaints along with your comments –it was plenty to convince me to hang up and move on in life, (and by association, not purchase the truck from this person).
Right now I am a teacher. Everything has moved online and it’s sort of like a farce as far as real teaching goes, nonetheless, aside from the steep learning curve (having about 3 hours to learn how to teach online and start your google classrooms) –at least I feel good about helping kids connect together when they are all isolated in their homes.
I would like to open up space for a new job though and have felt this way for years. Most recently, the dagger to truly switch gears slammed into my gutt when my Director chewed me out for not being present in one of my google classrooms I set up (we’d been doing this for 2 days, no training, definitely winging it). I believe I somehow accidentally created two separate classes simultaneously and showed up for most of my students not realizing 4 others were in a virtual classroom without me. I showed grace for my mistake, because I still haven’t figured out how it happened, however, the Director of the school could only find fault and reprimand me.
I have higher priorities, like keeping my family alive and helping students feel safe and cared about then being lambasted for not being two places at once. So, although I have been a teacher for much of my life, I am not at home being in an institution with a lot of rules and BS standards that bore children. SO, I often go outside the box, have a huge mess draping the floor of my classroom as we assemble solar cars or who knows what, kids completely engaged and a wee bit chaotic, but ALIVE and then get reprimanded for not following the text. So, I’m kind of hearing the internal voice louder and LOUDER, to move on. Change is good. FInd another path that can make money and open space for other passions rather than making you feel wrung out like a used washrag because you are always a rock in the stream (in my current posiiton and philosphies about teaching).
I suspect right now the whole world is migrating to on line business possibilities because they can’t work easily outside their homes.
I have no idea what I would do online or sell except I love to write. I love stories. Especially funny stories.
I apologize for this ramble but was curious if you really did look at these comments? DO you have any suggestions of what I might be able to do? I went to Cal Berkeley and now live high in the rockies where the moose are my neighbors. I do have to sit in my car outside a local store to access high speed internet. It’s not soo bad though and reminds me of college when I did sometimes resort to living in my car. SO Covid 19 is not a large threat for me, however, my personal happiness continuing on a job path that doesn’t seem to use my strengths IS a threat so I need to launch myself into something else without having to pick up my family and move them.
I look forward to hearing you ideas. Nice pup–probably a big boy by now. I have a Great Dane and he’s as big hearted as a dog can be.
Warm wishes,
SDK
PS –I am giving you my work email because it won’t block you (my personal earthlink email has a harsh firewall I have trouble deactivating, nonetheless, once I have your email address I can enter it in my contacts and then you won’t be blocked out.
Nathaniell
As a writer you have the advantage. Writing is the lifeblood of creating a successful online business in my opinion. However, if you don’t have consistent access to high speed internet, then that would be a first step. I can’t imagine spending 2-3 hours in my car writing an article. No local coffees shops in your area? What about a 4g hotspot in your rural home?

Hi. I’m looking forward to learning about your course.
I only have one problem. I am a minor, so I wonder how much everything would cost.
Nathaniell
Just make sure you have permission from your parents!
Total costs are $49/month (membership) + $14/year (domain). That’s it!
There are plenty of other things you could buy (there’s always something), but they are not required to make money from your website.

Hi! I’m a newbie! I am looking forward to hearing what you have to say in your course.
Thanks!
