Can you really earn steady paychecks simply by giving companies your opinion? Surveys 4 Checks seems to think so. The site also claims that earning money this way doesn’t even feel like work.
If you have ever tried to earn money from doing surveys in the past, then you’ll know that it can be tedious, frustrating and you end up spending a long time to earn relatively little income.
The Site Is Misleading
Surveys 4 Checks really isn’t honest about what you can expect from surveys. For example, they claim that you can earn the following figures:
Even earning $5 per survey is highly unusual. Most of the time you would be lucky to earn $1 for a survey. Honestly, there just isn’t all that money in survey research and you frequently find surveys that take upwards of half an hour and pay a dollar or two at most.
Additionally, the company uses the approach of ‘as seen on’ and ‘featured in’:
This is a good way to make the site seem legitimate and effective, but it’s misleading. In reality, none of the companies listed specifically talked about Surveys 4 Checks. Instead, at one time all of those companies featured something on doing surveys for money. In fact, there isn’t even a guarantee that the stories that were published were even positive.
There are also some odd things about the site. For example the menu link to mystery shopping gives you information about doing surveys, while the menu link for surveys goes to information about mystery shopping.
It’s actually kind of hard to get something like that wrong and never notice. Most of the time issues like this are indications that the company isn’t putting that much attention into its site.
Likewise the site has its share of spelling and grammar issues, like this one here, which further reinforce that idea. This place is really starting to look like a bad way to start an online business.
Cost and Outcome
First of all, I don’t like survey taking. It is an incredibly ineffective tool for making money and the process takes far longer than it should. I’ve tried the whole process of sitting down and taking surveys for money and let me tell you that it is dull beyond belief. If the money involved was decent, it might be worth pursing for some people, but it simply isn’t.
You also have to rely on getting enough surveys and getting credited for them correctly. Despite what Surveys 4 Checks claims, there are actually many companies out there that are unreliable in this respect and this can cause you to waste your time.
In the case of Surveys 4 Checks, there is also an additional issue. The site itself doesn’t actually offer surveys. Instead, you pay for ‘VIP Access’ to the site. This basically gives you access to a list of sites that pay people to do surveys.
This isn’t a good deal.
All of the information that these lists contain are things that can be found online for free. There are a number of websites that list different survey sites along with consumer reviews of them.
The idea is that you take this information and then go to the individual survey sites and sign up for them. I can guarantee you though, doing this will not net you the large earnings that Surveys 4 Checks claims.
In fairness, there are some legitimate survey sites out there and if you shop around you can find them – but you should never be paying for any information or paying to join any company for surveys. After all, the whole point is that the company is going to pay you, not the other way around.
Even then, be aware that survey sites are never going to be a full-time income. At best, they will be a little bit of extra money on the side.
The first step to making money online effectively is to have a realistic business plan. That is – a plan that takes into account the next few years, not just next week. If you don’t have this, whatever way you are making money (whether it is surveys or something else) is going to be short-term at best.
Starting a business this way can seem challenging, but it is very possible. Myself, I started my online business through a blog and have never looked back since. Ultimately, anyone can be successful at making money online, it’s just a matter of time, dedication and starting off on the right foot.
To be completely honest, doing online surveys will never earn more than minimum wage. In fact, most people rarely earn more than $1-$3 per hour, if they are lucky enough to get a payout.
You simply cannot rely on this for income.
If you want to legit make money online you need to invest time into building a website and putting advertising on it. Rather than spend an hour trying to answer boring questions, build a real web property that you can earn monthly income from.
It takes longer to accomplish, but yields bigger results that last longer. Instead of adding a second job to your schedule by looking for paid survey sites, add a second income by building an online business.
Most products like this last just a few short months then disappear. That's the nature of hype in the business of making money online.
The only system I've seen last more than a decade is the same place where I learned how to start an online business. They've been around teaching newbies to make money online since 2006. You can join for free and start your first website in the next couple minutes
