What Is It?
This is a series of videos about how to boost traffic and conversions on already existing marketing campaigns. Below are the titles for the 5 video series and my own interpretation of what you can expect inside.
- Fear Factor Fortunes: Exploit people's fears for your profits
- The Intensifier: Boring old tactics given a new name
- Commission Miner: More marketing jargon with a cool title
- Traffic Splash: Going viral is easy! LOL (yeah right!)
- List Monster: Build a list like every else
Monkey Marketing Mastermind seems to hit on a lot of points, and we all know the saying that if you try to do everything right, you end up doing everything wrong (or something like that).
Basically, the product is claiming that they can help you get more subscribers, more traffic, and convert better. However, they don't seem to be telling us anything new. I'll go into that in the review below.
I didn't actually buy this product because it was $77, which is too much money for me to pay for one review. Ugh. I wasn't going to do it, but then I looked at the Google results and figured that I'd chime in with my thoughts.
Before You Buy
If you search for reviews of this product, you'll notice that ALL of them are promoting it, and NO ONE seems to know anything about it. I challenge you to find just one review out there with screenshot from inside the members area, or with detailed information about what's presented in the video training.
I'll save you the time and let you know that none of them do. Many of the articles are not written by native English speakers, possibly outsourced, and some have been copied/re-written from other reviews.
In a nutshell, there's no real information out there about what's actually in the members area.
What I Learned From The Sales Page
You can learn a lot just by reading between the lines.
One thing I can guarantee will be taught in the members area of Monkey Marketing Mastermind is an exit popup. They present this as a “secret move” that all gurus use, which is unfortunately kind of true.
Have you ever been on a website that stopped you ever time you wanted to leave? “Wait! Are you sure you want to go? I'll offer you something else instead!”
…that kind of stuff.
Yes, this tactic works, but it's annoying as hell. Is that the type of business you want to build?
Another thing that sounds like they're advertising is equally annoying, and not new at all. They present it as a way to put your affiliate links on top of an advertiser's website in popup form. In actuality, that's not how it works.
It's impossible to put YOUR links on top of someone else's website without putting adware on their computer. I don't know how these guys do it, but I've seen other products where they require you to modify the link before sending it out to your social media followers. You aren't sending them to the vendors website, but your version of the vendors website.
The Main Issue I Have
Personally, just those two things were enough to turn me off of this product. They also presented it in a very hyped manner that makes it sound like “the next best thing”, even though it seems that no one really bought it or used it.
But my main issue with the Monkey Marketing Mastermind is that it just isn't for people that read my website.
I help complete newbies get their first online business off the ground. Many of these guys have no computer skills whatsoever. Buying a domain name and changing the DNS just to get their website running is a major hurdle, and most need a bit of hand-holding to get this done.
If this sounds like you, let me tell you something. You don't need to grow your list. You don't need to “go viral”. You don't need to trap visitors on your blog or learn how to create scarcity in your sales pages.
You need to set up a basic website and learn how to create content that people want to read. Google will index your blog and give you traffic for free if you take the time to write a bit of honest content about something you care about.
That's pretty much it
- 1. Make a website
- 2. Create content
- 3. Help people that land on your site
Forget all this mumbo jumbo about skyrocketing your profits to create autopilot income. Learn how to walk before you run. Monkey Marketing Mastermind isn't for you.
I know that because I didn't buy this product it will leave a few of you wondering what's actually behind the members area. It seems that whether “for” or “against”, no one is really willing to give this product a try.
Will you be the guinea pig?
Anyone who's actually bought the product is welcome to leave a comment and let us know what's inside. Please don't leave an affiliate link or a website link because I'll probably delete it as spam.
Most products like this last just a few short months then disappear. That's the nature of hype in the business of making money online.
The only system I've seen last more than a decade is the same place where I learned how to start an online business. They've been around teaching newbies to make money online since 2006. You can join for free and start your first website in the next couple minutes
