Viral Traffic Machine Does Provide Traffic, Kind Of

August 11, 2018

Viral Traffic Machine Review

Traffic is a critical component of online success. Regardless of what you’re selling or how good your website is, you need people to see it. This means that products like Viral Traffic Machine often sound amazing. The claims mightn’t even sound entirely unrealistic either. Various new approaches for gaining traffic have been discovered over time. Even if some of them only work in the short-term, they may still have merit.

Viral Traffic Machine certainly seems to think it is powerful, just look at the marketing. At $17, it also sounds like a low risk idea. Still, why waste any money at all? In this review we’re looking at what you get with Viral Traffic Machine and whether it is worth the money.

The Sales Pitch

As the name suggests, Viral Traffic Machine is designed as a way to get a ton of traffic. You don’t need to download or install anything and you don’t need to pay for traffic either. The program is entirely cloud-based. That aspect should make it easier to use, although it doesn’t affect the product’s power one way or the other.

The way that it’s promoted is the first serious issue with Viral Traffic Machine. Trustworthy sites rarely ever use this type of marketing. They tend to focus on the merits of their product instead. Viral Traffic Machine tells you as little as possible about what you’re getting. Most of the marketing focuses on income potential and how easy the process all is.

Free Traffic in Any Niche

I hate this type of hype. It’s never realistic and there is hardly any information provided. Call me old-fashioned, but I like to know what I’m buying before I pay any money.

There are other examples of manipulation too. For example, one of the freebies is the Agency Edition of the software. The figure of $497 here is meaningless, it’s just how much the company has decided the product is worth.

Agency Edition

The Agency Edition basically just means you have the ability to earn money promoting the product and you can use it for multiple users. That might be appealing, but it’s not especially unusual.

There isn’t really an Agency Edition anyway. Every single person that buys the product gets this version. No one has access to Viral Traffic Machine without it. That really means the phrasing is just manipulation.

The various other bonuses follow a similar idea. None of them are worth anywhere near what they claim to be. I mean honestly, a dedicated support desk is apparently worth almost $500. Really? Here’s another aspect:

Price Increase

Timers like this are meant to make you hurry and not think the purchase through. This one doesn’t reset when you refresh the page or visit it on a different device, but that doesn’t make it legitimate either.

The timer probably counts down to a specific time and then starts again. One indication is that there is no box for days, just hours. So, I happened to stumble across the site in the last 21 hours of the discount? That seems very unlikely. The price is likely to be exactly the same regardless of when visit.

The claims themselves are also silly. There are apparently just three steps:

  1. Login to the software
  2. ‘Blast’ out images with your affiliate link
  3. Enjoy income

Yeah right. The real world doesn’t work like that. Even if you could make money from the product, it’s not going to be that simple.

Speaking of income, there is a second angle highlighted in the marketing. The idea of $133 daily paydays. Another part of the site says $125+ daily paydays, but the underlying idea is the same either way.

Easy Traffic and Paydays

This angle is related to promoting Viral Traffic Machine itself. The number might sound high, as Viral Traffic Machine only costs $17. The difference comes from the upsells. If you can get people to buy the initial product and the upsells, then you could be making more than $100 per sale.

What You Get

With all of the hype, I expected Viral Traffic Machine to at least be unusual. Yet, the underlying idea is basic and it’s something that’s been done countless times before. The product is simply a cloud-based piece of software that automatically posts onto various social media platforms. Wow. So original!

By doing so, it provides the chance to leverage your social media following and get traffic. There are plenty of tools that work in the same way. Many are designed and marketed specifically for that purpose, so customers know what they’re getting right from the beginning.

An example would be Tailwind, which is specifically designed for Pinterest marketing. As Tailwind just targets one platform, it doesn’t have the same scope that Viral Traffic Machine has. Yet, Tailwind makes up for that by providing many more features and plenty of transparency.

Tools like this can be powerful. They make social media marketing much more efficient, allowing you to reach a wider audience than you could otherwise. The idea is particularly useful if you’re involved with multiple social networks or if you produce content regularly.

This does mean that some of the marketing claims are true. For example, the site says that you can go from spending hours posting, down to around 30 seconds. That’s accurate enough. It’s one of the reasons that you’d choose a program like Viral Traffic Machine.

Even so, I wouldn’t call this a money making tool or a traffic generator.

The idea is only relevant if you already have a large social media following. All you’re doing is interacting with your social traffic and getting them to visit your website. You still need to get that social following initially.

Let’s be honest – that’s the hard part. If you’ve got thousands of social media followers, you’re probably already funneling many of them through to your site. If you don’t, Viral Traffic Machine isn’t going to help you much.

This is probably the worst thing about the product. The marketing for Viral Traffic Machine targets beginners. It makes all these bold promises about income and never mentions that you need a social following to be successful. That’s incredibly misleading. Many people who buy this won’t have enough of a following to get anywhere.

There is one more thing to consider.

The goal of the software is to spam your social media with images that contain affiliate links. Think long and hard about this before you try it. If you have a decent social media following, that type of spam could easily lose you most of your audience. It certainly doesn’t seem like a good way to get sales.

This is even worse for people with a relatively small social following. You’d end up spamming the same people time and time again. The idea won’t get you much traffic and won’t promote long-term success.

Will It Work?

If you have sufficient social media presence, then yes, Viral Traffic Machine could be a way to save you time and get consistent traffic. Despite that, I wouldn’t recommend it myself.

The marketing simply feels too overblown. The program is promoted as being this amazing way to gain traffic, yet it’s really not. You’re just getting a fairly common tool that will only work for people who already have a social media following. The hype entirely hides that fact.

If you’re interested in automating some aspects of social media, it would be better to look for a service that is honest about what it offers. Many of the competing products outline precisely what you get for the price and how it will help you.

Comparing the products would also allow you to find the one that suits your needs best. For example, Tailwind is powerful for anyone that focuses on Pinterest, but it’s less relevant if your main audience is on Facebook.

Conclusion

Viral Traffic Machine offers a legitimate approach to making money online in the short term, which could be a way to gain traffic for some people. Even so, the product doesn’t even come close to delivering what the marketing suggests.

You’re not getting something that will give you insane traffic overnight. As for your income potential, that’s going to depend on your website and your audience. Viral Traffic Machine won’t change any of those areas. I think if you're going to auto-post content, you'd be better off going with a legitimate, established service that encourages quality content, like Hootsuite or Tailwind.

Most products like this last just a few short months then disappear. That's the nature of hype in the business of making money online.
