What is it?
The Golden Ticket is an instructional video course accompanied with an ebook that was created to teach its buyer’s internet marketing.
Its purpose is to teach people how to create a product that will sell well within your given market of choice.
There are three main parts to the product: the meat of the course is the ebook, then there are some instructional videos, a worksheet, and more training material is promised in the future. The Golden Ticket is an online course for people who want to learn what is needed to create a quality products.
The Golden Ticket does a great job of explaining most of the things you need to know in order to come up with a good product to sell. Unfortunately that’s where it stops. It does not provide any information on marketing or traffic generation and there’s a lack of support because you will be going through the course entirely on your own.
If you want to learn how to create a product this course might help. But if you want to learn how to make money from that product you should look somewhere else.
Before You Buy
Up-sell #1: Info Cash Machine – $17.55
Here's another ebook that's full of product creation tips. The book is supposed to be full of useful information on a wide range of topics related to product creation. In this guide, the author provides a “blueprint” on how to create a product that has real value, and much more.
It's an in-depth report and some additional training is also promised to be sent to you via email. This upsell sounds eerily similar to the main product, so I’m not really sure if it adds any value. This is NOT the Info Cash from Chris Carpenter.
What I Liked
The golden Ticket offers some good advice in a few areas. Here’s a few of the things I liked…
Discusses Mindset Techniques
Amanda discusses mindset quite a lot throughout this course. Normally I consider things like this to be second priority. But the truth is, building an online business can be very taxing, especially on your mood. Taking the proper steps keep your head clear, positive and focused could be the difference between success and failure.
I think Amanda does a great job at explaining that, without going too far by using the “The Law of Attraction” or other such nonsense.
Another thing Amanda focuses on is the importance of creating products that will be relevant for years to come. It’s difficult to create a product that will be relevant forever (evergreen) but it is important to think long-term.
Some of the advice Amanda shares shows you how to do just that.
By using tools like Quora, Social Mention and Google Trends, like Amanda shows you, you will be able to not only stay current on what’s important to your target audience, but you will also be able to see how things have changed in the past.
This is an important tool to master and Amanda shows you how.
The Emphasis on “Stick to What You Know”
One more thing that I liked about The Golden Ticket is that it talks about the importance of starting with a topic that you're familiar with. The reason this is important is because it's much easier to create a product, blog or business around a topic you know about.
There's also the passion factor. Anything you do that you’re passionate about is going to be much better than something you do just because you think it will be profitable. Believe it or not, this is one of the biggest traps new marketers fall into.
What I Didn't Like
Unfortunately, this course is designed specifically for people who need help with product creation.
All About Production
The Golden Ticket is all about product creation, which is not necessarily bad, but it leaves a lot of important stuff out. Online business is not a Build it and they will come type of thing.
There is a lot of planning and marketing that goes into selling online. People’s attention spans are shorter, there’s a lot of competition and it’s not easy. Production is just one small part of what needs to be done in order to be successful online.
Dependant on One Source of Traffic
I think this product would be much better if it discussed a few traffic generating techniques. The videos talk about how to use a few different social media websites to find product ideas, but not how to drive traffic from them. Social media can be an entire marketing strategy, and a good one if done right. But just creating an FB/Twitter account is NOT going to do anything for you.
From what it looks like, the main source of traffic is supposed to be The Warrior Forum (my review), and then it's just a matter of posting and reposting….for the rest of your life, I guess. Obviously, it's possible to make cash like that, but again, it's not a legitimate business, and you're entirely dependent on that one source.
I'm guessing most people will follow through with the advice given in this course. Maybe they'll create a product, and maybe that product is a great one. But that's where the training ends. There’s no information beyond that, and there’s absolutely no support offered after that.
So what happens when you hit a roadblock? Product creation and marketing isn’t smooth-sailing. You’re certain to run into trouble along the way, but you’ll be all alone.
It's important that you understand that The Golden Ticket covers just one aspect of online business. However, it's only one tactic — not a full business plan! It is one small piece of a much bigger picture. Without an existing business, website, or sales funnel, you can't actually profit from learning what they are trying to teach.
For product creation help, including marketing strategies and affiliate recruitment, I recommend Clickbank University.
But if you want to actually build an affiliate marketing business without product creation (what I do), join this online community where you can get step by step training and personal support from professional internet marketers, including myself. I prefer the affiliate gig because it simplifies my business and means I don't have to worry about things like updating the products, dealing with customer support, and coordinating launches/hiring affiliates.
Just my preference though. Either way, I think these two communities can help you with the support and training needed to build a successful online business.
