What is it?
Quora Guerilla Marketing is a video course, one video to be exact, that teaches you how to find keyword ideas and do research with Quora's platform.
It’s a 16 minute video that shows you how to use Quora to find some keyword ideas. That’s all.
“What is Quora?”
Quora is a question and answer website that has over 1.7 million users. It's a popular platform that people use to ask questions in a wide range of topics. It's an educational resource that anyone can use to learn more about whatever they are interested in knowing.
I think that this product could have a lot of potential if you combined this research technique with a legitimate product creation course. Right now it needs a lot of work and it lacks a lot of vital information.
If you're goal is to create an online business, this product won't help, save the cash and figure out how to use Quora on your own, because it literally takes a couple of minutes.
In my opinion, Quora is an excellent tool to facilitate the product research phase, or even keyword research for affiliate sites. If you're planning on creating a product then I highly recommend Quora but this product won't teach you how to do that.
Before You Buy
The video shows people how to navigate the website and find keyword ideas. There's one up-sell.
Up-sell #1: Competitive Keyword Research Secrets – $15
This report is supposed to show people how to discover their competitor's keywords and essentially steal them. You'll be able to use a wide range of tools to get an inner look at your competitors marketing systems and imitate them. It's mainly full of more keyword research tips that can be found anywhere else for free.
Spying on your competitor's keyword choices isn’t as effective as it once was. There are a variety of metrics that go into what ranks a site, and what each site ranks for. I don't think a keyword spy tool is worth the money at this point.
What I Liked
I liked how the product mentions using Quora for research, because it is actually a useful tool. When it comes to creating a product, the best technique is to find a problem that needs to be solved, and the best way to find problems is to find questions.
Quora is full of question-and-answer threads which makes research a lot easier.
What I didn't Like
There are a lot of things that I didn't like about this product.
First, when I ordered the product, and was redirected the download page, it was difficult to find the link to the product. There's no button or clear direction as to where you can find the link so you have to look around for a bit and that was a nuisance.
There are also three more offers right on the redirect page.
Horrible User Experience and Website Design
When you finally receive the login information (which is sent to your inbox) there's a really simple member's area, and the product is still nowhere to be found. I found the link and clicked on it and this is what I found.
This is a bare-bones webpage. There is absolutely nothing on this page except for what you see above.
This is basically what you get when you upload a few files to a webserver. To put this simply; I’m saying Doug did not put any effort into this for his buyer’s. There are plenty of options that would have taken him about ten minutes to create a simple page for this product.
He couldn’t even do that.
Video Doesn't Contain Much Value
The video is 16 minutes long, and yes, I did sit through the whole thing even though I wanted to rip my hair out after the first two minutes.
It basically shows people how to navigate the website. He'll take you through different categories of Quora and point out some really cool tips like the related topic sidebar and how to search for specific topics.
There's also a portion of the video that talks about listings the topics in alphabetic order, what's the point of that? I literally never need to search for something in alphabetical order.
The video is a manual on how to use the Quora website and doesn't really get into the details of how to find keyword ideas. It feels like he stole an instructional navigation video from Quora's database and sold it as a marketing product.
On top of that, the audio is terrible, and the speaker's accent is sometimes difficult to understand. If you're not a native English speaker and want to create an audio product, you should hire a professional. Seriously, it doesn’t cost that much.
Not a Marketing Product
Don't be fooled by the title. It's really not a marketing product. The video is one one tip about using Quora for research. That’s it.
There's no mention of how to generate traffic or any other marketing information that would be useful to build an online business. There's no mention of how to make money with this information.
It's one of those quickly made products that are slapped together in a matter of minutes to send some quick cash in the creator's direction.
You won't learn much from this video course and it's definitely not worth the price. Check out YouTube or any other free resources if you want to learn more about Quora. They will be a million times more useful than this product.
Why invest your time and money into another fly by night company when you could join the internet's most trusted online business community? They’ve been around since 2005, and they’re always ahead of the curve. Take a look at how they shaped my transformation from a low-paid English teacher to a full time internet marketer.
And I promise, they teach you more than how to use one website for keyword ideas. There are TONS of training modules that I personally created specifically about how to find good keywords, and rank for them in Google.
