What' Is It?
This is an MLM program. If you like MLM and are looking for a ‘good' MLM program, you can leave my website now. I NEVER recommend MLM or network marketing. If you don't really understand what Pure Leverage is, how you make money with it, or what MLM/network marketing is, keep reading for information.
Do not join.
Before You Buy:
The videos that Joel Therien show you entice you to believe that you too can make money with this system. He shows you his fancy cars, big house, expensive toys, and so on. You can be a millionaire just like him! I don't doubt that some people make money with this system. The question is, will YOU?
The answer is PROBABLY NOT.
I will admit, that I am extremely biased against MLM. If you don't know what MLM or network marketing is, it's basically a pyramid scheme with products. Exactly like a pyramid scheme, you pay to enter the system. Your job is to then get other people into the pyramid. You must ‘recruit' them into your ‘downline'. They pay you money to get it. Then they do the same. They recruit people, and those people pay money.
The only difference between MLM and pyramid schemes (which are illegal), is that MLM has products. Technically they sell you a product, and with the product comes the opportunity to make money by telling your friends to join. Usually the products are crappy, and people don't join because they like the product, but because they want to make money.
Remember that you need to convince people to buy pure leverage products. Then you must get those people to get other people to buy Pure Leverage products. This might be easy if they were selling iPhones, but here is the list of crappy products you will be selling.
- Elite Coaching Program (MLM training videos)
- Easy Lead Flow (1-page website)
- Blog (blogs are free – didn't you know?)
- Video email service (do you know anyone that needs to send videos in email)
- Virtual Meeting Room
So, all of these products are useless. No one needs training videos unless you join MLM. Their “high quality designed lead capture system” is actually just a single page website designed to get people's email address. Have you ever been to a website that says, “I will give you X product if you enter your email address!”. Yes, that's what they are talking about. Boring!
The “authority blog” is a fad now. Lots of places try to make it sound amazing, but it's not. It's a subdomain of the Pure Leverage site. You know how websites are usually www.website.com? This one will be www.subdomain.website.com. The sales page for Pure Leverage tries to make it sound like something useful to you. It's not. Here's why.
1) Subdomains don't get any help from the main domain. If www.website.com is amazing, then you create www.myname.website.com, it will not have any “extra” authority as they claim. The other line of BS they try to feed you is that their domain has high Alexa Rank.
2) Alexa Rank claimed as a way to show how popular your website is. I don't want to bore you with the details, but basically, Alexa Rank doesn't track all clicks over the world (not even close!), so this type of ranking system is useless. The details are here.
The virtual meeting room and video email service may seem like a good deal at first, but think again. These are NOT professional grade products that normal businessmen and business women use. These are poorly designed versions used only by MLM people. Do you personally know hundreds of people that can benefit from these kinds of software? Probably not. I can guarantee you that legit business owners will not be interested either.
Pure Leverage's products are Pure Crap. In the end, you are still selling the MLM business opportunity. I hope this clarifies WHAT you will be doing if you sign up for this program.
What I Liked:
I liked Joel Therien's house. Wow, that looks pretty awesome.
What I Didn't Like:
I already covered why I dislike MLM and the specific products of Pure Leverage. There are two more things I want to emphasize.
Please take a look at my email inbox.
After I signed up for Pure Leverage, this was my inbox. I received over 50 emails from Joel Therien and his company in less than a month. An average of 1.7 emails EVERY DAY AND IT HASN'T STOPPED. Good thing I used a fake Gmail account for researching these programs.
Do you want this in your email inbox?
The other thing I didn't like is the people that support it. You can tell a lot about a product by who is working together on it. You might not be aware, but there are many deals that go on behind closed doors to promote these things.
This person is responsible for creating many other internet-based-business products over the years. Most recently, he created DotComSecretsX. I do not mean this to be a personal attack on him. I do not know him. But I do know that he comes out with new products all the time, and they are always hyped or misleading, and some might even call them scams.
Do you want to give you personal email address, bank information, and hard earned money to this type of business? I don't. Again, I want to emphasize that this is not a comment on the actual product creator, but I do recommend that you stay away from his businesses, products, and all related services.
Who Is This Product For:
If you like MLM. Go for it. If you are a looking for a way to make an honest living by creating a real business on the internet (something you can be proud of), then this Pure Leverage is NOT for you.
I hope I demonstrated clearly why I do not recommend Pure Leverage or any MLM systems. What I teach here on One More Cup of Coffee is how to create simple websites that actually help people. This can be helping people lose weight and get fit, helping them learn to play piano, helping them develop a new skill, or even just helping them compare products services.
These websites are based on your own personal interests. You make all of the money that comes from them because they are YOUR business. You just need to know three things.
- How to make a website
- How to find products to put on the website
- How to get that website found in Google.

Still Selling Junk To Your Friends?
What is this - the 1950's selling Tupperware? Gimme a break. It's 2019. If you want to build a business, you NEED to be online or your business will be dead in less than 10 years.
Plus, those MLM parties boring as hell, and you know it. Nobody wants to buy that overpriced junk. Sorry to be so straightforward, but I really want to see you succeed.
You can start an affiliate website, you can promote ANY products you want from ANY company, so why are you selling such a limited range of products? Affiliate commissions range from 5% to 75%, and include Amazon products, digital products, and recurring services.
Last year I generated multiple six figures with my affiliate sites, and I can show you how to make them using the same templates. You get to promte whatever you want of course, and YOU keep all the profits (no upline!).
