Product Name: My Partner in Profit
Product Owner: Paul M. Birdsall
Price: $19.99/month or $49.99
What is it?
A MLM platform where you pay monthly for membership and training, and make money through promoting the product to others.
If you can actually find the sales page, you’ll notice that My Partner in Profit is a low quality site that is simply another MLM scheme that will not lead to significant profits. There is nothing unusual or unique about this product, and it is certainly not worth the price tag attached.
Before You Buy
Once you actually get to the purchase part of the site, the process is relatively simple, so there isn’t much to be concerned about. The product is sold through Clickbank, which means it would be easy to get a refund if you needed to.
The only other thing worth noting about the order process is that it is a monthly payment and you lose access to the system if you cancel.
What I Liked
I’ll admit that I liked the original video for the product because it was short and the background wasn’t rich furniture and a mansion like most product promotion videos. Aside from that, I wasn’t very impressed with the product.
What I Didn’t Like
One thing that internet marketing products have in common is that they make it very easy to spend money. This actually wasn’t the case with My Partner in Profit. Now, don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that this is a good thing.
My Partner in Profit makes it difficult to spend money simply because the site is so confusing. In fact, the first time I looked at the site I didn’t even find the page that promotes purchasing, and the page seems to be particularly difficult to find. To be honest, that sealed the deal for me right then. If the site can’t even sell its own product well, then there is no way that it can teach me how to make money.
Generally speaking, the quality of a website for a product is a really good indication of whether the product itself is any good. After all, when people spend a long time developing a product, they want to make sure they promote it as well as possible, otherwise their money is wasted.
In the case of My Partner in Profit there were multiple indications that the product is low quality. One of these was the 22 minute video in the ‘members area’. In that video, the images are so low quality that it is almost impossible to work out what was being shown.
The website design was another major indication. I was about half way through writing a review on the product before I actually found real product sales page (and consequently had to scrap my entire draft). I made the mistake of closing the sales page, and it took me another half an hour to even find it again.
Any product that makes it that difficult for you to purchase is not something I want to invest in.
As a side note, I did eventually work out where the link was, and why it was so difficult to find. The purchase link shows up after watching a full 20 minutes of the very tedious video. It’s unusual for a product to make you wait that long to get the purchase link, particularly as the rest of the page doesn’t even indicate that there should be one.
A final indication of the lack of quality on the site comes from the sales page itself. There were multiple places where there were broken images. To me, this is a strong indication that the product owner doesn’t check the site much, and suggests that support for the product is probably pretty limited.
It’s really not made obvious, but this product is actually a MLM system where you are promoting the My Partner in Profit system. I don’t know about you, but this sounds very different than the original advertisement for the product.
The thing is, MLM products are common, and there is nothing unusual or different about My Partner in Profits. Even the training that the site provides is average at best and certainly not work investing the time in.
I’m also a little curious about what happened to the whole ‘join for free’ idea on the initial landing page, because clearly the product isn’t actually free. In fact, you end up paying between $19.99 and $49.99 for the ‘privilege’ of promoting My Partner in Profit.
Who Is This Product For?
Theoretically, this product is designed for people who are looking to earn money online for the first time, but honestly, I think it would be more harm than help to people in this position. This really is a product to be avoided regardless of your level of experience. Here's my personal #1 recommendation for newbies to get started making money online.
Whatever type of product you decide to promote, it's VITAL that you generate leads to grow your business.
But let's face it, "parties" are boring, and no one likes the annoying Facebook friend who's always promoting a biz-op.
That's why I use this lead generation system. Learn how to generate leads outside of your circle of friends and family and discover what it means to truly own your own business, rather than just be a cheerleader for one network marketing company.
