As you can imagine, Only Cash Surveys is yet another site that offers surveys as a way of earning money. Unfortunately, it is also another disappointment.
The big thing about this site is that it rewards in cash, rather than points or sweepstakes entries. This is kind of a good thing, although the difference between cash and points is really kind of moot, they are just different way of counting the same thing.
What made me laugh about this is that when I got signed up to the site, this was on my list of surveys:
So, apparently the whole ‘cash only – no sweepstakes’ thing isn’t really true.
One of the catches with this site is that you have to earn $50 credit before you can redeem the money. That’s a relatively high figure, because most survey sites let you cash out at between $10 and $20.
In practice, this means that it will take much longer to get to the point where you can cash out.
In terms of survey rewards, what the site offers isn’t too bad. The list I had ranged from $0.10 to $3.00 and there were only three surveys out of about 20 that paid less than $1.00. That’s relatively decent for a survey site, however, the time estimates were pretty high, going all the way up to 37 minutes for a survey.
This is one of the key issues with survey sites in general.
It takes time to do surveys and to complete the qualifying steps to see whether you can even do a particular survey. Estimates of survey length are also often wrong, and you can end up spending much longer than you anticipate filling out surveys.
You also get very used to seeing messages that say ‘Thanks for trying!’.
Survey sites aren’t very good for making money unless you’re content with a little bit here and there for a lot of work. Nevertheless, there are a lot of people who use survey sites regularly. I’ve found the opinions of people who do this to be quite valuable when it comes to working out which survey sites are even worth bothering with.
One site, SurveyPolice puts Only Cash Surveys at less than 2.5 stars based on 12 reviews from users:
This is normally a pretty reliable site to gauge a survey company, and almost all of the reviews for Only Cash Surveys on it are overwhelmingly negative. Multiple people note that they didn’t actually get paid out from the site or that some of the money that they earned disappeared.
Other reviewers note that it takes a long time for the company to verify surveys. Coupled with how much you have to earn to cash out, it’s likely to take much longer than normal to earn any money with this particular review site.
With all the challenges in making money from survey sites to start off with, I would avoid any site that looks even the least bit suspicious. Time is far too valuable to waste on a site that might not even pay out at the end of all of your working.
Making Money Online
There is so much hype surrounding making money online and sometimes it just seems like there aren’t any legitimate ways of actually doing it – but this isn’t really true. If you find yourself stumbling across sites like Only Cash Surveys or binary options sites regularly, you might be looking at the process of making money online the wrong way.
Despite all the hype and marketing, there is no real secret to making money online. There isn’t a trick that you can do and it’s not really about buying the right system or product.
Instead, making money online is a process. It’s about learning steps and then applying them. With time and patience you can develop a business that continues to grow for years to come.
One of the best ways of doing this is affiliate marketing; because you don’t need to have a product to sell and you don’t need previous experience. It’s also something that you can learn a little bit at a time.
I learned this approach to making money online through a training site called Wealthy Affiliate and I recommend that you check this out too if you are interested in making money online by building a real business (instead of wasting time doing surveys!). Myself and many others are available to help with some of the training and offer advice – and this really is an effective long-term way of making money. As you'll see on the next page, I'm an active member and can help you get your business set up properly.
To be completely honest, doing online surveys will never earn more than minimum wage. In fact, most people rarely earn more than $1-$3 per hour, if they are lucky enough to get a payout.
You simply cannot rely on this for income.
If you want to legit make money online you need to invest time into building a website and putting advertising on it. Rather than spend an hour trying to answer boring questions, build a real web property that you can earn monthly income from.
It takes longer to accomplish, but yields bigger results that last longer. Instead of adding a second job to your schedule by looking for paid survey sites, add a second income by building an online business.
Most products like this last just a few short months then disappear. That's the nature of hype in the business of making money online.
The only system I've seen last more than a decade is the same place where I learned how to start an online business. They've been around teaching newbies to make money online since 2006. You can join for free and start your first website in the next couple minutes
