What Is It
Linkedin Cash Secrets is a video course that teaches its buyers how to use Linkedin to find potential clients for a high-end service that the course will also give you some guidelines on coming up with.
Overall Linkedin Cash Secrets is a great course for anyone who is looking to get started online by offering a service. You will learn a lot about developing a service, but you will learn even more about using Linkedin to attract paying customers. Anyone who watches this will definitely come away with some valuable information.
Before You Buy
Once you’ve made your purchase you’re asked to buy a few other products. This is common for products like this: it’s called an “upsell”. Linkedin Cash Secrets has two of them.
The first upsell will cost you an additional $14.95. What you get for that price is dozens of PLR content that you can use however you want. They suggest you use it to sell to the customers you attract on Linkedin.
There are tons of problems with that though. Most importantly though, PLR (private label rights) content is basically content that’s been created for the sole purpose of selling to anyone and everyone possible. It’s copied articles, blog posts and emails.
Using PLR content is probably the worst thing you can do for your business. It’s possible that your customers will recognize that what you’ve given them is readily available to anyone, and that’s just bad for business.
Plus, it’s just not possible to run a business using PLR content. What will you do when a customer asks you a question about one of the articles? You’re not going to have an answer, which means you can’t help your customers, which means they will find someone else who can.
If you click “No thanks” on the offer above, you’re offered all the same things for $9.95, instead of the original price.
This one will cost you an extra $19.95. What you get is even more PLR content and some templates. What kind of templates? I don’t know, the sales page just says “Templates”.
I think this sales page was created in a rush because at the top of the page you get this message:
I’m guessing that’s supposed to say something along the lines of “You’ve Got to Know..” or something like that. But they failed miserably.
Needless to say, I wasn’t impressed with any of these additional offers, especially the last one. I feel like these kinds of offers offer little value to me as a customer, and are just a cash-grab.
What I Liked
There are quite a few things i liked about Linkedin Cash Secrets. For beginners, or anyone thinking of using Linkedin for business purposes, this course will make a great starting point.
If you are interested in using Linkedin in your business then you will need to understand the basics. Linkedin _is_ a social network, but it’s a bit different than most others, because it’s primarily for businessmen and women.
The average household income for a Linkedin user is more than $100,000 per year. For other social networks such as Facebook and Twitter, average incomes are much less. So if you’re going to be using Linkedin in your business you will need to know the basics of the network because the users are there for entirely different reasons.
Linkedin Cash Secrets does a fantastic job of explaining some of those basics. Setting up your profile, privacy settings and even contacting other members is a bit tricky. But this course covers all those things well enough to get you started.
The course is offered in video only. Video is the perfect way to learn something new, especially online. Products that try to teach you something through downloadable PDFs, or some other kind of text can be very difficult to consume IMO.
In my experience, most PDFs sit on the hard drive of their buyer’s untouched until they are deleted. And that’s because nobody wants to read thousands of words about something they barely understand.
Video overcomes all that. Especially videos like the ones they use in Linkedin Cash Secrets, because they screen recordings, which give you an over-the-shoulder view. Presentation style videos are okay, but they’re just not the same.
Above I talked about how well the basics are covered in this course. But I also want to talk about the advice they give beyond the basics.
Linkedin has a lot of ‘moving parts’. The profile section alone has dozens of variations that can make or break you in the eye’s of potential clients. So the advice given in this course is beneficial because it tells about many of the nuances you probably wouldn’t know about otherwise.
Things like setting up groups, collecting email addresses and getting Linked Premium for free are all things they show you how to do in this course. All of that is valuable information that would take quite a while to learn on your own. And, unlike many other products, all that information isn’t readily available on YouTube or other websites
What I Didn’t Like
Overall, Linkedin Cash Secrets was a great product. But there’s some things I didn’t like.
One thing about this course that I particularly despised was downloading the videos. There’s twelve videos all together, and they come in a .zip file that you have to download from their site.
I’m not sure why they chose this route, but it definitely makes things much more difficult on their buyers.
They could have just as easily put hosted the videos on their own website. they could have even used a third-party service to host them anywhere they wanted…including their website. So the whole downloading thing didn’t make much sense to me. It leaves a lot of room for errors, especially for buyers who are a little less tech savvy.
What About Support?
One thing I’ve learned about doing business online is that support is a necessity. Without it, you will be more likely to give up when you get stuck. The Linkedin Cash Secrets download page does have a link you can use to email them. But most times, those links are for technical issues. Things like strategic questions and advice probably aren’t going to be answered by them. That’s the big problem with any product you buy that leaves you on your own.
It's important that you understand that Linkedin Cash Secrets covers just one aspect of online business. It's only one tactic — not a full business plan! It is one small piece of a much bigger picture. Without an existing business, website, or sales funnel, you can't actually profit from learning what they are trying to teach.
If you want to actually build a real business online from ground zero, join this online community where you can get step by step training and personal support from professional internet marketers, including myself. It's an environment that has produced many success stories for almost a decade now.
Most products like this last just a few short months then disappear. That's the nature of hype in the business of making money online.
