What Is It?
Build niche websites and make money with affiliate marketing.
Short Review
It's a simple idea, and it works. But the quality of the product is extremely low, the advertising techniques are very shady, and I don't quite trust the results he has achieved.
Before You Buy
Typical of products in this industry, Mark Wightley tells a tall tale of how he invented a system to make him tons of money.

Umm, really? This is your version of “going rogue” ???
The fact is, this is nothing unique at all. It's the same old ideas presented in the same old way that are re-hashed over and over again, year after year.
- 1. Build a website based on a niche topic
- 2. Find high traffic, low competition keywords
- 3. Create content for the website
Duh. We've seen this before in other products, and it's what I teach as well. Don't know how it works? You can find out for free in my 5 day email course. No need to spend $17.95.
What I Liked
There was actually a lot of content in the members are, which is more than most products can say.
I just watched the main videos, but it looks like perhaps there are some extra training videos too. I didn't check if they were paid or not because the main training was flawed enough that I didn't feel the need to.
The system he teaches works – it's niche marketing, promoting affiliate offers. I can't complain there. And to be honest, his site he built in the examples is still ranking on page one of Google (I checked), which I find quite unbelievable. Some might say, “Well, it works, doesn't it?!”, but continue reading and I think you might see a different side of the story.
But it's ranking, so I have to give him credit for that.
There was also a video marketing bonus which didn't seem half bad, but I didn't go through the course. It was really free, which was surprising.
What I Didn't Like
Audio Quality
Wow, this was a poorly put together product. He basically sat down in one session and banged out a video, then chopped it up into sections.
The audio was very tinny sounding, and there was a loud hum in the background that varied in pitch from low and pulsing to loud and screeching. It was horrible. This is enough to not recommend the product here.
The fact that Mark didn't even think to invest $50-$100 into a decent headset to record the audio for his “masterpiece” product is shocking. It shows an absolute disinterest in user experience.
Another thing – he has a very thick accent. I'm guessing it's Australian, but being an American, I'm bound to be wrong. I'm pretty well traveled and have spent plenty of time living in international settings, but I found it very hard to understand what he was saying.
Amidst all the lip smacking and marketing jargon, newbies, especially American or non-native English speaking newbies will probably find it near impossible to get a clear foothold on what's happening in the videos.
Tired Old Methods
He goes straight to Clickbank. Need I say more? Clickbank has been around for years, and has been the star player of many “secret” systems before. Ugh. Nothing new to see here.
You WHAT?!
The most insulting part of this product is the underhanded way he goes about trying to make an extra buck off of members. They already spent money to get inside the members area, and now this?
Hosting scams are a dime a dozen. What these guys do is tell you they will give you a free website. “OMG it's free”, the newbies scream. Wait, you have to pay hosting! They charge $14.95 per month, which is stupid to pay when you can get $5 hosting at Hostgator. Even the yearly discounts are overpriced at $143. Now, instead of free, you are now hundreds into the red.

Limited?! $1995 value?! Seriously man, can't you just be up-front about this kind of stuff??
Oh, did I mention that Mark is using Hostgator?
The Product
The product itself wasn't bad, but why you would pay for this is beyond me. There's only about 20 steps in the program, and steps 1-16 are available for FREE with a free starter membership at Wealthy Affiliate. Yes, 80% of Google Cash Explosion is actually the free stuff that real online training centers give away as freebies.
Anyway, I felt that the topics were covered way to fast for newbies. If you get hung up on anything, you are going to be forced to submit a ticket and probably wait days for a response. If you are completely new to online business ,Google Cash Explosion is not for you.
How He Ranked
As I mentioned above, I was quite surprised that his site he built in the training videos was actually ranking. I looked into the backlink history of the site, and found that there was a bit more to the story. He didn't just leave it there and wait for it to rank.
1. He got a backlink from another one of his sites. The site was about mobile phones, but had a lot a meta descriptions related to Spybubble Pro. How's that possible? That's what makes me think something fishy was going on.
2. He got a link from a website that is no longer active. Why? Again, he was doing some funny backlinking.
I do not endorse link schemes at all because I used to use them and was burned badly. Some guys think this is OK and attempt to game the search engines by promoting their own sites building artificial backlinks. I don't do it.
Final Review
There's no reason to pay for something you can get for free, and there were some advertising techniques that I really didn't care for.
