Product Name: Affiliate Game Change
Product Owner: Jack Stanley (pseudonym)
Price: $47 (discounted to $17)
What is it?
Affiliate Game Change claims to be an entirely new system for making money online through affiliate marketing.
Honestly, Affiliate Game Change is a lot of hype covering a product that really doesn’t have any substance at all. Not only does the sales pitch for the product completely mislead you about what is in it, but all the product teaches is basic affiliate marketing to start off with. Now, I agree that you can make money with affiliate marketing, but to be successful you would need much more training than Affiliate Game Change offers.
Before You Buy
Like many internet marketing products, clicking off the sales page will give you a popup notice that offers a discount if you stay on the page. You can do that multiple times, and you can drive down the price from $47 down to $17.
Personally, I don’t think the product is even worth $17, but if you are planning to try it out at all, paying the least amount of money possible is also a good idea.
You can also access a $1 trial of the product for 5 days, but be very careful with this. After the time is up, you will be charged the full amount ($47). This means that you have to cancel before the five days are up to avoid paying the full fee.
However, it can sometimes be difficult to do this and if the company is uncooperative, your trial could end up costing you a much more than $1.
What I Liked
The only thing that I liked about this product was that it was promoting a legitimate approach to making money online, which is affiliate marketing. However, I honestly don’t think Affiliate Game Changes teaches people anything about how to affiliate market, and it doesn’t offer any strategies whatsoever.
What I Didn’t Like
Seriously, the opening video for this product just made me laugh and not in a good way. Not only is the video poor quality, but it seems a little pointless.
Realistically, no one is looking at buying any internet marketing products because their internet is so annoying it makes them want to throw their computer. I mean, if that was actually the case for you, I think you’d avoid the concept of making money online altogether.
The sales video doesn’t get any better from there, and it is filled with the same internet marketing hype that you see on most online products, including ClickBank earnings that are almost certainly faked and don’t actually prove anything.
For me personally, this video sets of huge red flags.
For example, it is promoted as an ‘out of the box system’, taking just 20 minutes a day of work. There isn’t a product out there that works like that. I mean really – just imagine if there was. You would have about it a million times over.
Instead, you are faced with an obscure, low quality website that promises lots of money with little work. The video doesn’t even really explain how you are meant to be making the money in the first place.
While I’m talking about the video, don’t buy into the ‘anti-guru’ rhetoric at all.
The narrator makes a huge deal out of the fact that he isn’t a guru, but really, the distinction is meaningless. The term guru really is just a phrase that people throw around to describe experienced and successful internet marketers.
Most of the time, the term guru is derogatory – largely because a lot of gurus out there scam users, with sales videos much like the one we are seeing here. In reality, guru is just a label, and Jack (if that even is his name) is no different from them.
Lack of Sense
One of the things that makes me laugh about this video is that in bashing ‘standard’ internet marketing techniques, Jack actually ends up insulting his own product and approach quite a few times along the way.
For example, he spends quite some time talking about how he hates the hard sell and even comments on how no-one likes watching the internet marketing videos that are so common online. The thing is, his video is one of them. In fact, Jack uses many of the same techniques and the same hard sells in his video that other ‘gurus’ use in theirs. There simply isn’t a difference.
Another point is that Jack keeps talking about how the internet marketing industry is dying, claiming that people are unoriginal and outdated.
The internet marketing industry is huge. It doesn’t just cover affiliate marketing, but it includes any form of business transaction online. Now, I might believe the concept that one part of internet marketing was dying, but not the whole thing.
It’s also worth noting that internet marketers are not lazy or unoriginal, and most of them don’t assume that making money online still works the way it did even a year ago. People are constantly developing new strategies and new approaches and internet marketing is still a field that is very alive.
When you start to get into what the actual product is about, things get even more concerning. The video talks about how you don’t need traffic and you don’t need any money to start. Now, both of those sound suspicious to me.
The thing is, you can’t say that it doesn’t require any money to start a given system, when the only way to learn the system is to buy a product. Yet, that’s precisely what Jack is saying.
Up till now, Affiliate Game Change might have sounded like an okay system, but it simply isn’t. The thing is – there isn’t actually anything different about his system whatsoever. He is simply promoting affiliate marketing and you really don’t get much at all for the money you pay.
For example, one thing that the product offers is that you get your own free site. However, the site isn’t free at all. Instead, you have to pay for his hosting to actually access it, which really is pretty pointless. In fact, you should never go with hosting that is forced on you like that – it is almost always much more expensive than it needs to be.
Aside from that, the main other content that you get for your money is training on how to get traffic to your website.
For making money online, getting traffic is important. However, the original advertising for this system specifically said that there was no need to get traffic.
In reality, all Affiliate Game Change offers is extremely basic approaches to affiliate marketing, with lots of upselling and no real instruction at all. There is nothing unique or ‘game changing’ about the approach, despite Jack’s repeated assertion that what he offers is different than other internet marketers.
In fact, look at it this way. Early in his sales video, Jake talks about how Affiliate Game Change makes money without you having to do any sales at all. However, he is promoting affiliate marketing, and the whole process of affiliate marketing is selling. So, either he is very confused, or he is being very manipulative.
Either way, I don’t want anything to do with the product.
Personally, I think that calling Affiliate Game Change a system is completely unrealistic and there is no way that anyone using it could actually make the figures he is talking about at all.
If you are going to learn to make money online, affiliate marketing is really the way to go, but the training at Affiliate Game Change probably wouldn’t help you at all. Instead, it’s more effective to choose a product that offers comprehensive and up-to-date training, like the #1 Recommended Program that I support. Personally, that program is where I got all my training in affiliate marketing, and taught me so much important information.
