If you’ve been looking for a way to make money online then you might have stumbled across Paid Surveys Etc. Like many others, the site offers you the chance to earn money at home by doing surveys – but is it actually as good as it sounds?
The site is entirely unrealistic about how much money you can earn doing surveys. Being able to earn $500 to $3,500 per month this way is just a pipe dream – it doesn’t actually work. Even the people who do surveys regularly will be able to tell you this.
In reality, there isn’t that much potential in surveys because there actually isn’t that much demand – despite what Paid Surveys Etc. would have you think.
The concept behind surveys is that you are giving companies feedback and opinions that they need to make decisions and to strategize. Survey research was used for this purpose in the past, but not so much nowadays.
Companies have a lot of tools at their disposal for finding out what customers think and what they want. Surveys are just one of those tools. In fact, a lot of companies don’t use surveys because they are so unreliable. I mean, realistically, how many people actually answer surveys honestly?
In many ways, paying people to fill out surveys makes them less likely to answer honestly (not more likely). For starters, people trying to earn money tend to answer in ways that will offer them more surveys or let them get through surveys faster.
Companies know this – and there simply isn’t the demand for survey takers like Paid Surveys Etc. claims.
Most of the time, the amount of money you can earn through survey sites is minimal, perhaps $1.00 per survey at the high end. More often though, you might be earning $0.20 per survey and might be completing surveys that take as much as half an hour.
Surveys like the ones that Paid Surveys Etc. promotes are very rare.
All-in-all, people trying to earn money through surveys might earn $20-$30 every month or two. Even then, earning this money tends to take more time than it is worth and you have to jump through hoops to even get to that point.
Paid Surveys Etc. Itself
So, what about this particular site?
Paid Surveys Etc. really hypes up how much money you can potentially earn through the site. This is something to be concerned about, because it as a clear sign of a scam. In fact, the best survey sites out there (and there aren’t many good ones) are very realistic about how much you can and cannot earn as well as what you are getting into.
Additionally, Paid Surveys Etc. actually charges you to be a member. Membership costs $69, although the site does offer a 50% off coupon. The site plays this down a bit by talking about a deal where members get a free $50 after they take their first paid survey.
Personally, I doubt that very much.
There are tons of free survey sites out there. Some of them are good and some of them are bad. There are also many sites that compile lists of the different survey sites and even offer ratings for them.
With all of that out there, there is absolutely no reason that you should have to pay to do surveys online. You also have no guarantee that the site offers anything that other sites don’t have.
Reviews from members of the site suggest that you don’t even get to do surveys through Paid Survey Etc. Instead, the site is simply selling a list of survey companies that you can then go and try to do surveys for.
Of course, you are better off finding unbiased information about what survey sites are worth your time.
Internet Marketing Is What The Pros Do
There is some appeal in survey sites, but from what I've seen mostly they are simply a waste of time and sometimes even money money. This is certainly the case here.
At best, survey sites are a way of getting a little bit of pocket change on the side, although the amount of work involved is quite high. Survey sites are simply not effective ways of making good money online, let alone a legitimate income.
Thankfully, there are other ways of making money online, ways that actually work in the long-term. A particularly powerful approach is internet marketing, where you are making money through a website that you develop and maintain.
It’s a field that people often avoid, because it sounds difficult, while sites like Paid Surveys Etc. sound easy.
In reality though, internet marketing requires much less work in the long run and it can be much more profitable compare to the time you put in. You also don’t have to figure it out on your own though! There are amazing training sites like this one that can teach you the basics of how to make your first website in just a few minutes, and how to promote the products you love to start earning money online.
