What is it?
A survey site that you have to pay to use.
While eProfit Academy may look like a legitimate online business, it is little more than a front for a survey site that you have to pay to access. Realistically, surveys are simply not a legitimate way of earning money online, and they take a lot of time with very little reward. This is one site to steer clear of.
Before You Buy
Survey sites are a common way to make money online, even though they are nowhere near as effective as they seem. Most of these sites are completely free, but eProfit Academy apparently feels like being an exception to this rule. Instead, the company is charging $68 (‘discounted’ to $34) for access to the membership area, which basically contains the same types of surveys that you can find anywhere else.
The purchase process is simple, but you do have to sit through a video that is completely unrealistic about how much money can be made through surveys.
What I Liked
The animation in the video was interesting to watch – that’s pretty much all though.
What I Didn’t Like
Just a Front
I suspect the name eProfit Academy was chosen to make the service appear to be legitimate and to suggest that it provides education and training. However, this really isn’t the case, and the eProfit Academy site simply acts as a way to funnel users to a different site altogether.
Even though eProfit Academy looks professional at first glance, it has actually just been thrown together without all that much time or effort. For example, this is an image from the About page for the website:
Pretty generic right? In fact, this is a generic About page for many different sites, and I got more than 9,000 hits by plugging the first sentence into Google and searching for an exact match. It’s likely that the entire website is based off a template, with very little original information at all.
The only real content on the site was a single page explaining the system. Even this page was a little strange, because much of the content was promoting working at home in general. Additionally, some of the content doesn’t even make sense given what eProfit Academy is actually offering.
Personally, I found browsing the site annoying, because there was a persistent popup directing me to the real site that is being promoted. I don’t mind a popup once for a website, but it is very annoying when the popups are persistent like this site.
Survey sites are often promoted as a good way of making money online – but this simply isn’t true. Long before I had ever heard of freelancing or internet marketing, I did try to earn money this way myself. It was a very time-consuming task, and I spent a lot of energy getting nowhere.
Can you earn money this way?
Probably, but it is a lot of work for not much reward. The amount that you earn through survey sites is never going to be great and actually going through the surveys can be a pain.
Honestly, if you have your heart set on trying survey sites, I would suggest looking for one of the many free ones that are available, some of which I have reviewed in the past. Survey sites do have the advantage of requiring little setup work on the part of the user, and you certainly don’t need to develop a website or anything like that.
However, earning money through a company like this makes you completely reliant on the company, and means that you have no recourse if the company closes for any reason or simply doesn’t pay out when they are supposed to.
Who Is This Product For?
No one. Even if you really like surveys – there are free sites that offer identical options.
Earning money online is meant to be about independence and freedom, and this is not something that survey sites offer. Instead, it is much more reliable and effective to make money through affiliate marketing approaches, as affiliate marketing can produce long-term income that can even become a person’s entire source of income.
Even though affiliate marketing sounds challenging, it really isn’t and there is a lot of training to make the process easier. At the end of the day, you can get significantly more return for your time through affiliate marketing than you ever could through surveys.
