Product Name: Copy Paste Paydays
Product Owner: Brendan Mace & Dalton Scott
Advertised Price: $4.95, then $19.95/month
What Is It?
Copy Paste Paydays promises to teach you how to make money “the easy way”, by copy/pasting their email marketing and facebook messages. There is some training on how to set up a website, and how to get traffic to that website.
Copy Paste Paydays was worth the $5 that I paid for it. The videos were high quality, and it delivered honest information about how to make money online through email marketing and posting Facebook links.
However, I don't feel it's worth the continued membership fee of $20 per month, and I disagree with some of their methods of making money online.
Overall, I still prefer the personalized support and extensive training offered by Wealthy Affiliate.
Before You Buy Copy Paste Paydays
You should understand that no “system” will ever allow you to simply copy and paste some things in order to make money. This is a marketing technique to get you to purchase a product. Personally, I think this is dishonest marketing, but it's pretty standard for the “make money online” industry.
Perhaps you are used to it by now.
True to its word, Copy Paste Paydays does actually have some content that you can copy and paste to your email list, as well as to Facebook groups. However, the challenge of creating a website that generates enough traffic to actually build a list still lies ahead.
While there are a few videos explaining the basics of how to set up your first WordPress website, the consistent support and feedback that most newbies require to become successful is simply not there since there's no community.
Core Concept: Email people MMO offers
The basic idea of what you'll be doing with the Copy Paste Paydays training is emailing offers to make money online to people on your list. Since the emails are pre-written, you are locked into the “Make Money Online” (MMO) niche. Hopefully you find it interesting!
Though I didn't verify all the potential products to offer, a large portion of the ones I viewed in the member's area were other products by Brendan Mace.
There are a few videos in the members area.
- Video 1: Email Campaigns
- Video 2: Facebook Posts
- Part 1: Set up Domain + Website (3 videos)
- Part 2: Set up Landing Page + Aweber (2 Videos)
- Part 3: Traffic Generation (2 videos)
The rest of the members area is the content that you'll copy into your email campaigns and into Facebook Groups.
What I Liked About Copy Paste Paydays
Core Concept of Email Marketing Works
Email marketing simply works, and has worked for a long time. This is not a new way to make money online, but it is an effective one if you can grow your list big enough and create campaigns that convert.
If you have a list of people that are interested in Make-Money offers, then these copy/paste campaigns could be effective!
Good free Traffic Tips
Though the video was short, and there were not many tips covered, I though the portion about using Google Alerts to generate traffic to your
Buying Traffic Solo Ad Details
I was surprised that Brendan went into such detail about who he buys solo ads from to get cheap clicks! He gives us a list of names, and even tells us which one was the cheapest. Detailed information like this can be important for newbies.
Automated System For Bonuses
Delivering bonus products to your referrals is pretty easy. They have landing pages set up, and you just need to email them with your details so they can create the landing page with your affiliate links on it.
What I Didn't Like About Copy Paste Paydays
Focus on MMO
One thing I really dislike about the MMO industry is that so many of the products just teach you how to get other people into the MMO industry.
You buy a product to learn how to make money online, and the product then tells you how to get other people to get even more people to teach someone else how to earn money online. It's tiring.
That's why I prefer products that teach you how to make money in your own niche. There are so many different areas that you can earn money online. Health, dating, fitness, video games, pets, computers, gardening…the possibilities are endless.
But so many Warrior Forum products hype this “copy paste campaign” mentality, and everyone is just sending emails about how you can make $1,000 per day with a super secret method.
If you are not passionate about helping other people make money online, I don't advise you enter this niche.
Traffic Generation Techniques Lacking
Though Copy Paste Paydays does cover traffic generation, they do not go into great detail. Traffic is a nightmare for most people, because you can never get enough! It's extra tough for newbies because they are not aware of all the possible techniques out there.
I felt that Brendan and Dalton could have spend another hour talking about blogging, PPC, social media, and the specific of each in order to get newbies off on the right track.
No Reason To Pay Membership Fee
I don't really understand why there's a $20 fee per month after I buy the product. All the information is there, and I can just host my own website, then send out the emails to my list.
There are supposed to be updates with more products listed and more campaigns added, but my guess is that they will all be related to “how to make money online”.
Personally, I'm not excited to send my list offer after offer each week about a new way they can make income. I'd rather pick one method, and help them be successful with that.
I don't see the added campaigns each month as being worth $20. If they had a community with support and feedback, I might change my mind!
Posting MMO to Facebook Could Get You Banned
A big part of the training is how you can post links to Facebook groups. They are very clear that you should only post to groups where it's allowed, but still, I have many people I personally know that have had Facebook accounts suspended for posting too many affiliate links in Facebook.
In some groups, it is allowed. And it's true, some people can make money this way. However, I don't really like the idea, and I haven't personally heard of anyone having long-term success with this method.
Copy Paste Paydays was worth the initial cost, but not worth the monthly fee that comes afterward. If you have a list of MMO-interested people or want to be in this industry, you can learn some things from these guys for $5.
If you are interested in being in a different niche or want more personalized support while you build your business, I don't recommend this product.
So many newbies get stuck in the beginning, and they stop trying. One of the major reasons I can make money online is that I was able to vent my frustration and get help when I needed it from a supportive community.
Wealthy Affiliate has been creating success stories for over 10 years now. They have a free version of their membership you can join, and you get to pick the topic of your website based on your own personal interests.
If you're a monthly member, you also get personal access to me and other successful people. Click to my review for details about what they teach and how much it costs. There is both a free and paid version of the membership.
Have you tried Copy Paste Paydays? What do you think of it? Do you think $20 per month is a fair price for what they offer?
