Product name: Commission Commando
Product Owner: Sean Danahoe
Up-Sells: Advanced Training ($192-297), Fan Page Firestorm ($97-197), and Elite Commando Bootcamp ($97).
What is Commission Commando?
Commission Commando is a Clickbank product that teaches people how to create profitable websites from scratch. Sean Danahoe claims that his product teaches people how to create profitable websites without relying in search engines and other sources of traffic. In fact, all of the marketing techniques that Sean recommends revolve around social media and video marketing.
Commission Commando seems like it contains some useful information that people can use to build a profitable online business. It teaches members how to market their websites through social media for instant traffic.
On the other hand, it's quite outdated, and a lot of the recommended traffic generating techniques are simply no longer effective due to anti-spam campaigns and algorithm updates. I don't recommend this product. I believe back in 2011 when the product first launched it contained some excellent material. I can tell that the website hasn't been updated in a longtime because the copyright message at the bottom of the webpage says “Copyright 2011” instead of the current year.
Before You Buy:
Take note that in the sales video Sean Danahoe states that he is the legitimate real deal and in the background you can see some Google search results for his name. What happens when you do that right now? Well, not much. The results are all a mess of spun articles and other junk related to Commission Commando. Sean either decided to disappear off the radar at some point after releasing the product or he created fake results for his name (Photoshop or video editing software, it's not that difficult).
That's not a sign of a legitimate product. On top of that, as soon as you attempt to click away from the webpage, you'll be blasted with a offer to receive a free copy of the Video Assassin 2 training course that supposedly worth $197.
You also have to wait for the video to finish in order to purchase the product or view pricing information. The product costs $47 and it claims to teach you everything that you need to know to build profitable websites. It's also a few years outdated. It seems to me that Sean launched this product and then abandoned it all together and moved on to other projects. You can still purchase the product but it's completely outdated and there's no support for it anymore.
What I Liked:
Besides being a completely outdated and dead product, there were a couple of things that I liked about Commission Commando.
For instance, I like the fact that it teaches you how to generate quick leads from social media, specifically, Twitter and Facebook. The techniques are designed to send traffic to your website as quickly as possible. It's not necessarily stable traffic, but it's fast traffic, and sometimes that's all you need to earn some quality leads.
Keep in mind that social media has changed a lot since 2011 and there's a good chance most of the marketing techniques recommended in Commission Commando will send your account straight to the spam bin.
What I Didn't Like:
I should also mention that this product doesn't teach members how to optimize websites for search engine results. It's not a product for people who want to learn how to create organic and stable flows of traffic. In other words, it's not recommended for people who want to create a legitimate, long-term, online business. The information contained within the product is completely outdated.
In fact, it's so outdated that it isn't even listed on Clickbank anymore. I find dozens of websites that attempt to promote this product and all of their Clickbank Hop-Links lead to the following page…
Therefore, I think it's safe to assume that this product has been removed from the Clickbank shelves. Check out the image above. Notice that Clickbank says the site was removed due to violating the terms of service? Interesting. I'm not a detective and I'm not going to dive into a full scale investigation here but I think it's quite clear what's going on.
It's junk. Keep your distance.
Well, now it's your chance to sign up for a legitimate product that'll teach you how to build a successful online business. It's a product that caters to beginners and guides you through each step of the process to build a profitable online business. The product is called Wealthy Affiliate and it's my favorite product.
When it comes to online business courses, it's important that all the information within these programs is updated in real time. Unlike Commission Commando, Wealthy Affiliate is completely up-to-date and will never recommend shady marketing tactics like spamming social media.
You'll be taught how to drive traffic through search engines and other sources through 100% legitimate and white-hat techniques. It's an excellent product and I'm one of it's members, will you join me in the members area?
