Product Name: Clicking Profits System
Product Owner: Gerald Soh
Advertised Price: $12+
What Is It?
Clicking Profit System is basically a story about how Gerald Soh made a bunch of money on a product launch as an affiliate one time. The examples are somewhat useful, but this is a really poorly constructed product with little value to the average buyer.
We are told that we are going to be shown how one marketer made $16,000 without a list and using free traffic. It sounds amazing, but finding out the details makes it very much NOT-amazon.
Before You Buy
First off, $16k in sales does not mean $16k in profit. He doesn’t actually show us how much money he made from sales. It’s probably a few thousand dollars, but $16k was how much money he generated for the owners.
Always be careful with marketing tactics like this!
We are also lead to believe he achieved this without any leads, but then a large portion of the course is about how he built a list. So yeah, Clicking Profit System is another ‘money is in the list’ video course. There are a few more things he discusses, but nothing interesting or insightful as you’ll see below.
The entire members area is just 5 videos, 5-7 minutes in length each. Not much substance IMO!
What I Liked
The two videos about Facebook has some interesting ideas. I hadn’t considered using Facebook events before. Unfortunately, he really doesn’t give any detailed examples, or show exactly how a new marketer could build up a list or revenue using his methods.
He could just say “set up a Facebook event” and it would have about as much impact as two 6 minutes videos did.
What I Didn’t Like
Hinges on “One Big Trick”
This is not a marketing strategy or money making blueprint. This is one guy, that did one big sale, one time in his life. He’s just another example of someone that had some success and now wants to play with the “gurus” by creating a product. After all, that’s where the real money is right?
The tactics outlined in the members area of Clicking Profits System are tired and worn, and he doesn’t even do a good job of explaining them or giving examples.
Dependent On Launch Jacking
In one video we are shown that he built a list of 216 people. Wow! 216! He admits it’s small, but then goes on to say how a small list can make money. True, but there’s a catch.
Later on we see that he dominates the search results for DNA Wealth Blueprint, for multiple searches. I am positive that the majority of his sales came from launch jacking this product. He owns several domains with the “DNA Wealth Blueprint” in them and got them ranked.
How did he get them ranked? By outsourcing backlinks to Fiverr.
OMG, can this guy get any more stereotypical?
Rank #1 in Google for product launches by buying keyword rich domains then outsourcing backlinks to Fiverr. Sure, it sounds like a great plan, until you realize that every other n00b marketer out there is trying to do this and looking to buy similar domains, and buying their backlink packages from the same people.
To be honest, I’d guess that most of his sales came from ranking in search and not from his dinky little list.
Part of the ‘plan’ that Soh has laid out for us in Clicking Profits System is basically to send affiliate offers to your list every single day.
Do you enjoy this kind of marketing?
Buy this FB product! It’ll make you rich!
Buy this ranking product! You can be wealthy!
N00b marketer makes $16k! Copy/Paste the formula!
Day after day after day.
In theory, it sounds great. Send an offer every day, make money every day. In practice, these markers get very high complaint rates, very high refund rates, and high list turnover because people only put up with that crap for so long before they unsubscribe.
Then they start over and repeat the process.
Rather than invest your money into a couple of videos with the same old info about building a list and backlinking your website, why not start from scratch and learn how to build a legitimate niche website?
Instead of getting into the “make money online” scene and just be another guru-worshiper waiting for the next product launch, why not pick a topic you are passionate about and create a website on that topic?
You can do it with the same training I took to build my very first website 4 years ago. Updated an improved every year, this online business community has been around since 2005 and still teaches people how to create businesses based on their passions, not on how to launch jack the next make-money-scheme.
