Product Name: Auto Affiliate X
Product Owner: Reno Von Boven
Advertised Price: Free
What Is It?
Use a free, pre-made Auto Affiliate X website to capture email addresses and send email promotions via autoresponder.
The product is free, and the system outlined works, but there is zero training, and without knowledge of email marketing, you are basically spamming people's inbox.
Before You Buy:
I can't remember how I found Auto Affiliate X, but I started on aax.e-cik.com which is a horribly designed website that looks like something out of the 90's. I was then taken to autoaffiliatex.com/secretaccess.php where I signed up for the program and got my login credentials via email.
I was very surprised to find out that the program truly was free, and that I was able to watch 5 training videos and set up my promotional site for free. At the end of 10 minutes I had a website that was ready for promotion. Don't take this as a good sign though, it was a horribly designed site and there were numerous other issues to be aware of.
What I Liked:
There was actually a lot to like about this product, despite me giving it a bad review.
First and foremost, there were very few promotions to sort through to get to the product. Usually there are hour-long videos telling you about the millions of dollars you can make, and bla bla bla.
Second, the website really is free (no gimmicks), and you get paid* to have other people sign up for free too.
The instructions were very simple, the steps were laid out very clearly, and everything ran smoothly in just 5 steps. After completing the tasks, I had a functioning website. I did not put in my autoresponder info because I was just testing, so that would take a bit longer, but regardless, I thought everything was very well laid out.
Then I watched a short webinar where he clearly stated that you don't want to spam people's email inboxes, and that you need to recommend products that they want, in order to help them. Sounds good!
What I Didn't Like
There are some major issues with this product however, and I do not recommend you use it to form any kind of online income. In fact, I think it simply won't work for most people, especially newbies. Though this section will be short, let's be clear that these are some very important things that influence my decision to NOT recommend this product.
Reno Von Boven does not tell us how much money we make per referral. (Update: corrected below in the comments, it's $1-$2 depending on the country the referral comes from). It can't be that much money because 1) he doesn't tell us, and 2) we are getting people to sign up for free. We also signed up for free, so he is losing money on this (He definitely makes money by promoting stuff to you via email after you sign up for Auto Affiliate X)
And though building a list and marketing products via email is a real way to make a lot of money online, you have to be good at it in order for it to work. If you don't know how to set up a proper email marketing campaign, you are just sending random emails to people you don't know trying to make sales. This, in my opinion is SPAM.
There is absolutely zero training on how to write decent copy for your email, or how to get traffic to your site. There's nothing about how to promote your site via free or paid methods, or how to choose good products to promote.
You will be spending all of your time and energy telling people how awesome Auto Affiliate X is and how much money you can make from it, but in the meantime, you will be making nothing.
Auto Affiliate X simply does not offer any kind of quality training. The pre made website you made will not rank in Google, and you do not have a budget for paid advertising. You'll be left spamming your affiliate links to social networks or to friends and family. This is not a formula for success.
You need real training. You need to see the ‘big picture' of how money is made online. Building a list is hard, but building a website is easy. Writing articles about your own personal interests is a great way to attract people to your website. Learn how to do these things and build a real business website in the online business community where I got my start.
Most products like this last just a few short months then disappear. That's the nature of hype in the business of making money online.
The only system I've seen last more than a decade is the same place where I learned how to start an online business. They've been around teaching newbies to make money online since 2006. You can join for free and start your first website in the next couple minutes
