Product Name: 48 Hour Profit Express
Product Owner: Jeremy Kennedy
Advertised Price: $8.84
What is it?
48 Hour Profit Express is a twelve-page PDF that promises to teach you how to make $197 in forty-eight hours or less. The guide discusses the idea of creating and promoting an information product, with the minimal amount of effort, that’s how you do it in forty-eight hours.
This is the third product I’ve reviewed that was created by Jeremy Kennedy and it’s the third one that failed to deliver. There’s just nothing to this product. It’s a few pages of general, unusable information. It basically says, “Hey, did you know you can create a product and sell it online? Well, you can and if you charge high-dollar for it you don’t have make as many sales.”
There. I just summed it all up.
Before You Buy
After you make your purchase you’re asked to consider another of Jeremy Kennedy’s products. He calls this one “Laid Back Success”, because “you can effortlessly add a $1,997 – $2,500” to your back end. Meaning that you can charge your customers that much after they buy your initial product and put it to use.
Given the quality of his other product’s I’d recommend not spending the additional $17 for this product.
Jeremy’s Other Products
The first product I reviewed by Jeremy was called Couch Potato Cash. It wasn’t a great product but I gave it 55 out of 100, because it was somewhat unique and I could see how it might work for making a few bucks here and there.
The next one was “$100/day With Emails”, which got a 30 out of 100. Like 48 Hour Profit Express, it was full of general information that is especially irrelevant for newbies.
You might have noticed that there’s a trend here.
What I Liked
Unfortunately, there’s not much to say here. With almost every product I review I can find one or two things I liked but that’s just not the case this time.
If you were to draw a map that showed everything, every stop involved with creating an info-product and selling it online 48 Hour Profit Express would be the pre-starting point.
It’s like saying, “you can go on a roadtrip and all you need to do is buy a car!” but there’s a lot more to it than that. You need to find the car, you need money for the car, you need fuel for the car, you need money for fuel, etc.
Anyone can say it’s possible to go on a roadtrip, but doing it is and saying it are two different things.
What I Didn't Like
This is not the first time I’ve reviewed a product that promises to teach you how to make money by creating and selling products. This type of advice is something I tend to steer people away from, because there’s already enough serial product creators whose focus is on quantity instead of quality. That said, it’s obvious that you can make money creating and selling info-products online.
The problem I have (besides the serial product creation trap I mentioned before) is that 48 Hour Profit Express, like so many others, lacks the specific information that shows its readers how to do it.
Instead, you get this…
Well that’s great. I’m glad they have videos and instructions that show me how to do it, but I just bought a product from you, not them. Could you at least link to the instructions instead of sending me off to figure it out for myself?
This is the exact type of thing that plagues so many products.
Serial product creators whip-up these products as fast as possible with almost no regard for the buyer. Anyone who creates a product like this should be willing to to include everything the buyer needs to know, or at the very least, include links to helpful resources.
It takes a little more time and effort but it makes the end product somewhat valuable.
Not for Beginners
Jeremy asks like you can simply create a few lessons, write a couple emails and instantly be “in business”. Obviously, that’s ridiculous. It takes much more than that to be in business. In fact, it takes a lot more than that to even make a few bucks.
The assumptions Jeremy makes in this product are fairly big. Just look at the image below.
Let’s just look at the first, most obvious hurdle to Jeremy’s little plan: The two emails.
If you follow his advice and setup a sales page, a buy button and write two emails, who are you going to send them to?
You need an email list to follow his advice, and a pretty good one too. If you have a list of subscribers who are willing to buy a $200 product from you after just two emails then you’re in great shape. You don’t need Jeremy’s courses, or anyone else’s for that matter.
My point is, getting to the stage in your business where you can take advantage of this very vague advice is not easy and it takes time. However, Jeremy acts like this product is the answer for newbies in need of quick cash, and that is soo not the case.
One of the things about buying a PDF product is that there’s almost never any real support that comes with it. That’s not always the case, but PDFs are meant to be consumed individually.
That means there is no community engagement or or anything like that. However, many PDFs do offer some type of support link, even if it only goes to a third-party support desk. Sometimes it’s on the download page, other times it’s in the PDF itself.
48 Hour Profit Express did none of those things.
There is no download page — the download starts automatically once you pay — and it’s not inside the PDF, so there’s no place for a link to support. I see no way to find help if you have questions about what he's teaching. What a shame. It's hard to give a good review of a product that doesn't offer to help out the people that spend money on it.
Making a full time income from reading one PDF just isn’t going to happen, especially if there isn’t a good enough support network.
