30 Minute Money Methods is one of those sites that starts of with a claim which sounds completely unrealistic. This time, the idea is that you can earn as much as $500 every 30 minutes. Ha! I wish. I’m sure everyone would love to be able to do that. It would be a way to significantly increase your earnings. This type of approach might even let you quit your job.
Sites rarely ever live up to that type of claim. The figure is mostly used to grab your interest. But, what about 30 Minute Money Methods itself? Is the system entirely a scam or does it teach some legitimate techniques?
Hype And Red Flags
The first thing to mention is the marketing. Even the name 30 Minute Money Methods focuses on hype. It makes the system sound amazing and certainly gets your attention. The sales video follows that idea, talking about how you can earn up to $50,000 each month, easily.
The product apparently comes from Shelly West. But, there’s little evidence about who she is or even whether she is a real person.
And, of course, there are some meaningless proof of income images that could have easily been digitally altered. I sometimes wonder why companies even both with these. They don’t prove anything at all.
The math is a little odd too. For example, the site talks about earning up to $500 per hour. Later on, it says you can earn as much as $2,000 per day. What does that mean? There’s a cap on income? Are you only working four hours a day? Or, maybe the website is making up numbers that sound impressive.
Speaking of hype, there’s a little ticker running along the bottom that apparently tells you how much money people make. Surprise! It’s not real. For one thing, the site wouldn’t be able to track what people were earning.
Besides, there are only about 10 names in the entire list. Once it runs through them, it just starts again with the same names and profits. It’s just manipulation, pure and simple.
There are video testimonials about the products. But, these are misleading too. Most of the videos seem to be from sellers on Fiverr, who offer this exact type of video as a service.
Let’s not forget about the comments section. It’s filled with positive comments like these:
In my opinion, there’s no way those comments are legitimate. Besides, there’s no ability to leave comments on the page and the comments aren’t dated.
You can try and leave a comment if you like –you’ll just be taken straight through to the product purchasing page.
One final issue is the details. The promotion video for 30 Minute Money Methods is intentionally light on useful information (and heavy on hype). We’re not told precisely what is involved, aside from the fact that it’s a secret. You’ll also hear the idea of making money in 30 minutes repeated much more often than it needs to be. I know this is standard for the “make money online” industry, but it doesn't mean that I have to like it!
So, there are a ton of red flags, including some that I haven’t mentioned. These factors alone are a reason to give the company a miss. If the marketing is going to focus this heavily on manipulating people, the product isn’t likely to be very good.
What You Actually Get
If you step through and buy 30 Minute Money Methods, you’ll receive four different ‘methods’ and a couple of bonuses. Each section just gives you a pdf that contains details on the individual methods. The specific approaches discussed are these:
- Doing voiceovers online
- Stock photography
- Playing games
- Being the middleman
- Doing social media management
You’ll notice that I have links for various items in that list. That’s because I’ve written at least one article on that exact same topic. I certainly don’t charge for them and the topics aren’t even very revolutionary. You’ll find plenty of similar free articles online that cover the exact same topics.
The pdfs from 30 Minute Money Methods do contain information. But, they’re not detailed enough that you could follow them step-by-step. Instead, you’d need to use these as a starting point and find more information on your own. Which begs the question, why bother?
All of the techniques to work as ways to earn money, especially freelancing. But, none of them will earn you $500 in 30 minutes. You’d be lucky to earn anything at all within 30 minutes. Some are best viewed as side hustles, while others could provide long-term income but only if you put in the work to build a business.
Regardless, none of the approaches will earn you as much as 30 Minute Money Methods claims. You’re certainly not going to earn $50,000 per month from any of them and they’re not fast and easy to do.
Instead, you’ll need to take the time to develop a reputation in the field. You’ll also need to determine the most efficient techniques to make money and get paid regularly.
Despite all the marketing claims, many of the approaches do require some skills. For example, you need to be able to take decent photos to sell stock photography. Likewise, the entire concept of freelancing is that you’re selling a skill. You might just focus on writing, but you do need to be good enough that someone will want to buy your work.
All of the methods from 30 Minute Money Methods are legitimate. They’re not exceptionally unusual but they would work well enough if you were dedicated.
If the training was promoted like that and was reasonably priced, then it might be worth the money. But, that’s not the case. Instead, the marketing makes it sound like an amazing way to easily earn lots of money fast. Clearly, the actual training doesn’t live up to the claims.
The misleading aspect is the biggest problem here. Anyone who buys the product expecting even a fraction of what the marketing claims is going to be incredibly disappointed.
One advantage is that you’re not spending a lot of money. 30 Minute Money Methods just costs $37 initially. If you click out once, you get a discount, bringing the price down to $27. What you get still isn’t worth $27, but at least you’re not paying a large amount for the training. Just watch out for upsells during the process.
Sales are made through Clickbank. This should mean that you can get a refund without too much problem.
30 Minute Money Machines isn’t really a scam, as you do get some training and you could earn money by following the ideas (then researching further on your own). However, what you receive certainly isn’t worth the price and doesn’t come close to the claims that the website makes.
Simply put, the site isn’t worth the time or the effort.
