Product Name: 2014 Only
Product Owner: Matt Bergstorm
Upsells: $200 or more deposit needed
What is it?
Free software that is supposed to make binary options trading less risky and more profitable.
Like many other products, 2014 Only offers free software to users who invest in binary options, but don’t buy into the hype. The very nature of binary options trading means that it is very unlikely that the software will be effective and even with software, binary options trading is a risky approach to making money online.
Personally, I would not recommend the product, particularly as the product owner manipulates users into thinking that the venture is much more guaranteed than it actually is and almost completely hiding the amount of risk that is involved.
Before You Buy
2014 Only is advertised as being completely free, but this really isn’t the case. Instead, users have to deposit $200 or more into a trading account to even see the software. If you are even considering getting involved in binary options, I would suggest doing some serious background research into what is involved, what companies are reliable and what the risks actually are.
Binary options trading is nothing like 2014 Only makes it sound, and it is not the money-making dream that it is portrayed as.
What I Liked
I have seen this approach to binary trading promoted often, but this product was more open than most about what was actually involved – which was a little encouraging.
What I Didn’t Like
Everyone loves things that are free, particularly when the free item in question happens to something that they want. When it comes to online products like this one, I always get a little concerned when there is a product or service advertised as free.
The thing is, most internet marketers aren’t in the habit of giving away their hard earned work for free. Those that do, tend to have a pretty big catch associated with the product. Think of it this way, if they aren’t making money from the product itself, where do they make money?
2014 Only uses an approach that is actually becoming very common. Users are provided with free software, once they invest in binary options trading. Binary options trading is certainly not free and it actually much riskier than the product owner makes out.
The Software Itself
The author doesn’t reveal very much about the software that he is ‘giving away’, but it is actually more than most other product owners. However, what he does show isn’t exactly encouraging.
Basically, what is being offered is a piece of software that predicts what trades will be good and then tells people to make them. It’s essentially impossible to tell how good the software is simply by what the author says – but personally, I doubt it is very good.
The thing is, binary options trading is basically betting on the stock market, and it is chancy at best. People who understand it very well can make a profit off it, but many more people will lose money. It’s highly unlikely that any software is going to be able to predict the way that the market is going to change or which trades are going to be good.
Even if the author is making as much as he claims from the trading (which I highly doubt) there is absolutely no guarantee that someone using the software with no experience would be able to do the same.
Here is another thing…
Just about every internet marketer out there who promotes binary options does so by offering free software that ‘guarantees’ success. It is pretty likely that the software is the same or very similar across these different individuals and also that it probably doesn’t work very well – if at all.
Everything that was promoted in 2014 Only was similar to what all of these other companies promote, and realistically, binary options trading is an approach that is risky. Not even really good software can change that.
I will be honest, I hate binary options. It really annoys me how companies try and convince viewers that profits are a sure thing when this is not even remotely close to being the truth.
It’s so easy to get fooled by companies that sell you the idea of fast and easy money with barely any effort – but these are just pipe dreams, and aren’t true at all. The fact that there are four paragraphs of fine print under the page where you create an account should be a very strong indication that binary options is not nearly as safe or guaranteed as it sounds.
I have talked about binary options in more detail in other reviews, and there really isn’t anything different about this product. Realistically, I suspect that all of the binary options ‘products’ out there are simply repackaged versions of the same thing.
It’s also worth noting that the regulation on binary options companies is very limited, and there is no guarantee that many of them are even operating legally. Additionally, because these companies tend to be web-based, there is a very real risk that if you do make a profit – they will not pay out.
For some people, binary options is a legitimate way of making income. If this is something you honestly want to pursue, I would suggest that you talk to an investment professional for advice, and choose a trading site carefully. If a company is relying on tactics like 2014 Only to get you to sign up for a specific trading platform, it is something to be concerned about.
Who Is This Product For?
I don’t think this product is really useful for anyone. Perhaps for people experienced at binary options, but I suspect most people in this category wouldn’t believe that the software can actually be effective.
2014 Only makes binary options sound much better than they actually are and almost completely hides the risk. Making a long-term, stable income online is something that few people achieve through approaches like binary options, and many more will lose money in the process.
This is really what makes the process of affiliate marketing so desirable because it is a legitimate approach to earning money online that is sustainable in the long-term and does not have the level of risk that binary options carries with it. Additionally, there is considerable training that can help people learn how to be effective at affiliate marketing.
