What is it?
101 Digital Affiliate Hacks is an ebook made up of about sixty pages. Inside, you will find exactly what Stuart Walker, the product’s creator, promises: More than One Hundred Affiliate hacks.
101 Digital Affiliate Hacks is a great product that delivers on its promise. It’s not going to give you everything you need to start an affiliate marketing business online, but it might help move you in the right direction. Stuart Walker, the creator, is a well-known and trusted source in affiliate marketing but this product is simply an an entry-point.
Before You Buy
Stuart Walker has another product, which I reviewed recently, called How to Find Your Perfect Niche In 7 Easy Steps.
Again, it’s not a complete course about building an online affiliate business, but it does provide a lot of insight into the important first steps. It’s also a pretty good product, and you might want to consider it, before jumping in with 101 Digital Affiliate Hacks (depending on how much experience you have)
What I Liked About 101 Digital Affiliate Hacks
Basically, 101 Digital Affiliate Hacks, is a list of tips to help new affiliate marketers improve their business. And there are definitely some things I liked about it.
There Are Some Really Great Tips
Many times, with products similar to this one, I’ve seen tips that all talk about the same things. You can throw a ten dollar bill at just about any affiliate network and hit an ebook with a list of tips that all say stuff like “create quality content, build your email list, get more traffic”, et cetera et cetera.
But Stuart’s product goes far beyond that and provides a lot of important details for each tip, without boring you and making you you a bunch of fluff, filler content. What’s even better, is that he’s provided tips that will help you in the longterm, not just stuff for right now.
Just as an example, let’s look at tips #9 and #10:
Both of these tips are great because they teach you how to develop a habit of looking at the offers you want to promote, through your buyer’s eyes. Following these tips will practically ensure that you have more buyers who trust you, are willing to buy more from you, and buy more often.
They may seem like basic tips, but I’ve never seen them in any other product I’ve reviewed on the topic, and I’ve always wondered why, because it’s something I’ve found them to be effective in my own business.
But tips #9 and #10 are just two, what about the others? Well, obviously I can’t reveal all Stuart’s tips, but they are all just as good or better than these two. I’m more than happy to recommend following most of them.
Real Support And Community Access
Finally, a product that offers real support. If you read any of my other reviews then you probably already know how much importance I place on support — it’s the most important determining factor for a newbie’s success.
However, more often than not, product creators offer ZERO support. Or sometimes, they will offer support through a third-party support desk, which only helps solve technical issues, like downloading problems and refunds. Not that those things don’t need to be addressed, but that’s not support.
Real support means being there when you need it, it does not have banker’s hours, and it helps strategies. There are a few different ways to offer that kind of support, but none as effective as a community. And that’s exactly what Stuart offers with this product.
Once you’ve made your purchase and get to the download page, there’s a big image asking you to join the Facebook group. The best part is, it’s a pretty large group with lots of members.
The reason I like communities so much is because it gives you the chance to interact with other members who have more experience than you, but it also allows you to talk with folks going through the same stages and struggles as you are. It’s the perfect way to find help from a range of experienced people.
I am a part of this group, and there's a lot of activity to follow, and Walker is plugged in daily, offering tips and topics of discussion. It's one of the more active groups I've seen from products I've purchased over the years. Many times the FB group is just a ‘front' for support, but nothing actually happens in the community and it's a waste of time to join.
Kudos to Stuart for creating this group and offering to all his buyers.
Some Other Stuff Worth Mentioning
For what it is, 101 Digital Affiliate Hacks is a great product. I didn’t find too much that I didn’t like about it. That being said, I probably wouldn't have purchased it for myself – I basically just bought it to review. I personally didn't get a whole lot from it, but I've been marketing full time building niche sites for four years. This is definitely targeted towards people that are still beginner-ish.
The Internet Is Full of Tips
I can appreciate that it took a lot of time to complete this guys, and it's definitely high quality. Worth the money? Yeah, totally. But the internet is full of thousands of niche-builder affiliate-website related websites and they're all handing out free information to try and drive traffic to their website or get your email subscription.
While the tips contained in 101 Digital Affiliate Hacks were great, I'm just not really sure they needed to be compiled in a paid PDF format when there's so much else out there available for free. At the same time however, I would definitely pay $10 for access to the Facebook group, so you may want to consider that the real value here lies in getting connected with people like yourself, trying to build an online business.
I think it's worth mentioning that I disagree with some of the tactics recommended within not just the Niche Hacks community, but other “niche marketing” websites. I often see recommendations for places like The Hoth or other PBNs, suggestions to get articles from content farms, or things like emailing your subscribers more than once a day with tips and offers.
This isn't a reflection of this specific product per se, but it's just something to be aware of when getting into the “niche builder” communities. A lot of these guys just repeat the same advice over and over but are not actually making (what I consider) good money from their sites. I realize people will probably shoot me (virtually only, hopefully) for killing their sacred cows, but whatever.
A good product for a good price, and created with love!
What If you Don't Have A Website Yet?
It's important that you understand that 101 Digital Affiliate Hacks covers just one aspect of online business. However, it's not a full business plan! It is one small piece of a much bigger picture. Without an existing business, website, or sales funnel, you can't actually profit from learning what they are trying to teach.
If you want to actually build an online business online from ground zero, you can see how I got started here. I attribute my successes to being able to reach out to a community of peers and mentors for help. Without them, I wouldn't be where I am today — working from home, building my websites, and growing my income year after year.
